They have those in Chiny?

Hi All!

Having a crazy day but I took some time in my daily workout to snap this:

HI FELLOW PAIZONIANS!

Anyone recognize Nessa's Axe? :-)

Big Kiss

Jenny

Nice axe.

Thanks for the pic, Jenny. (The address has an extra "http" in it that needs removing, though.)

Thanks for putting up with our (in)sanity, Jenny! I'm glad you've put up with the skepticism of our kooky family by delivering the goods.

P.S. Does your job/circuit take you out to the Arnold in March?

Oh my.

You have a very beautiful axe.

Welcome aboard, Jenny.
Did I see you were going to pick up Pathfinder? Cool. I hope you like it.

I'm jonesing for the start of our new Pathfinder campaign in a week or two. Gotta finish the current campaign first, though. Should be able to cap it off tomorrow, I think. Then it's Pathfinder all the way.

Wow. Quite the thread. Came here to check out the assertion that a real-world human looks like Seoni - I reckon she could pull it off. Welcome, Jenny. Hope you like Pathfinder.

N.B. I have always believed in hot gamer chicks. I will even make the assertion that hot_gamer_chicks / all_gamer_chicks > hot_gamer_guys / all_gamer_guys, though the math gets fuzzy what with subjectivity and all. Still, you know it's true. :)

Yes. I was reincarnated as a bull. I must have been very good in my past life to deserve this.

Personally, I don't try to include a lot of sex in my RPGs because I'm the religious type.

That can make sense, depending on the religion.

I personally distrust all religions that want me to believe that all sex (except regulated sex used for procreation) is inherently bad. :P

But since we're talking about not trying to include sex in RPGs: I try to do that, too, and I'm not religious. It's mostly because it's not something a bunch of guys can enjoy together (well, at least not us guys), so it takes place mostly off-screen, and we'll reserve going into detail for the acts of brutal violence and criminal greed we all enjoy so.

Derek Vande Brake wrote:

(As an aside: why is the barest hint of religious discussion, even when topical, hit with a delete hammer on every single forum I have ever seen, but a frank discussion about whether sexuality belongs in gaming is not?)

People tend to get touchy over religion. Things can get heated. In the real world, people sometimes kill each other over it. So in many places, people prefer to nip it in the bud, and ban religious discussions as a matter of course. Politics can have a similar effect.

On the other hand, things don't quite get as hostile over sex - sex does have some touchy topics, but it's more an issue with the specific sub-topics.

Derek Vande Brake wrote:

As to your motives and existence... really people? Would a spammer put as much time into this as she has? Would a prankster here hack her webpage to make it seem more authentic? (Okay, maybe, but unlikely.) I get the feeling she's the genuine article.

That were my thoughts, too. As I said earlier, if this is a troll, it's a very resourceful one, either having his own model to make fake fotos for him or hacking a webpage of a model that happens to dress up as "saucy barbarian wench" and put said photos into a "Paizo" folder.

Call me a sheep or something, but this is a conspiracy theory I won't subscribe to. I'll stick to my "aliens have infiltrated every government on earth" theory. It makes more sense, what with some of the political decisions that those "people" are making, which seem utterly disconnected with life as we know it as earth humans ;-)

So don't sweat it.

That's made all the more unsettling by knowing that you keep a monogrammed wooden case full of iron brands for your human love slaves. Don't sweat it indeed.

Funny that you mention it: I thought about something like that, too.

Thought some more about it and came to the conclusion that it would be a huge frikkin chore.

So instead I brand those people who don't adore and worship me.

That brand hardly ever gets used! ;-p

My best guess would be:

hot_gamer_chicks / all_gamer_chicks [approximately equal to] hot_gamer_guys / all_gamer_guys,

and I would even venture a guess that:

hot_gamer_chicks / all_hot_chicks [approximately equal to] hot_gamer_guys / all_hot_guys

All right, this sock puppet thing is getting too much, time for me to fess up!

I created a number of elaborate fake accounts with alternate personae in order to trick people to perform a number of actions.

The list of fake accounts is:

Kruelaid
The Jade
Moorluck
Tarren Dei

And, most importantly, I created the fake persona of "James Jacobs" as a "Paizo staffer" to promote my seething hatred of dwarves and provide it with legitimacy. This one went really far, with public appearances and fake articles in Paizo Products.

I know my deeds are unforgivable, but I implore you to temper justice with mercy.

The Iron Maiden would be okay. Something like The Unexpect would be better - I'd fit right in.

But Maiden will work.

Just don't put me in the Manowar.

And before this turns into a holy war of Manowar fans against real metal fans (;-P), I want to express a belated

Bah, you and your real-world statistics stuff. :) Not sure your equations work out though. If you were to take some physical trait like green eyes I'm pretty sure you'd be right but we're talking self-selection. But I've no desire to thread-jack Jenny's thread art thread any further...gods know it has veered off course from its original intended purpose. :)

Hey, I like Manowar! Seen them at least twice ... when they're bothered to tour in their home country.

EDIT: Except that last CD was crap. *sniff*

OK, this is an awesome thread!

You know, the next time someone complains that depictions of women in fantasy art are unrealistic, I'm going to refer them to Jenny's photos.

Speaking of french stuff, I just picked up the most interesting coming- Order of the Dragon Guard. It's about a bunch of women who have to fight dragons because they are the only ones who cannot be sensed by the dragons and are immune to its aura of defilement. It just came out here in the US under Marvel Comics(7 bucks an issue!!!) and I'm sure you may have access to it up by your way. Maybe you could cosplay one of those characters?

Do you have a link? I think I tried to read that one in French. Either that or there's more than one French comic about virgins with big swords who fight dragons.

Only the Japanese are more wacky when it comes to that. When I first heard about the concept, I immediately thought of Devil Hunter Yohko and was about to enter another Whedonrage. But then I read the comic and immediately felt better. It's really, really good, and I'm sure it's the same thing you tried to read. I'm sure there are a few translation issues though- a few of the panels don't really synch up.

Time for some Bovinian criticism. Or some Post-Dairy criticism.
