To think someone implied a level of maturity on these boards?!

Maturity - on the internet?

That's just crazy talk...

To be fair to Americans... most of us don't NEED to know the leaders of the various countries of the world. It's about rational ignorance - the idea that if you don't gain more benefit from information than the cost of discovering that info, you don't bother with it. As the only world superpower, American politics have a larger impact on world affairs than Germany or New Zealand. If we weren't that powerful, Germans and New Zealanders wouldn't know who the president was. As an example: Can anyone tell me who the govenor of Louisiana is? Probably not many outside the United States, because Louisiana as a political entity simply isn't as important at the U.S. as a whole.

Now, you might make a distinction between those Americans who don't know and never will, vs. those Americans who don't know but have developed the skills to look it up if they need to.

There are also all of us who have heard the names and seen the faces on the news and know who the person is, but just blank on the name when asked. Forgetting the name does not mean we think the person is unimportant. As an example, the US Supreme Court is a very important part of our government, but I could not name all nine of the Justices without looking it up to save my life.

And back on topic, welcome to the gaming family, Jenny! :)

Psst. You should pitch Jenny your character sheet to help out on her Rogue creation. ;)

Well, as it seems she did a great job on her own, I will ask my publishing partner on his thoughts here. I would be happy to do so in exchange for an honest review, or from any of the paizo celebrities for that matter (it makes business sense). If nothing else, the core of the sheets would be a possibility. Anyone else agree with this idea?

Noo! Smear campaigns, Smeagol! We don't likes them, precious! They say such liess about the hobbittes!

Lord knows if we had the budget, I'd lobby very strongly for 4WFG to hire Jenny as a model for one of our products. Even if we had to make one up just to suit her...

Normally this is where I'd say I was kidding, but I'm not. The more RPG product covers with lovely women on them, the better in most cases.

Kinda makes me wonder how many of us have the hardbodies to take shots like these. Some people just have a knack for taking a good picture. I had some pro shots taken a few times that look pretty good, but all the pics from friends and stuff look..well...lame. Amazing what a person who can really take a good picture on either side of a camera can do. Grats to you; thanks for sharing.

I believes he is saying he will give you his very well done character sheet pack for free. So you can use it to make your character. In exchange he is asking that you post a review of the product and tell everyone what you thought about it, good or bad.

Unless i am mistaken which is possible.

Actually you want the opinion of long time gamers. They know what is useful or not to have on a character sheet etc. You also want new people like you to review them. Since what many of us take forgranted on how easy it is to use or understand(since we have been doing it for years) might not be so easy to understand or use to someone new to the hobby.

So really it is best to have reviews from both points of view. :)

GOOD POINT!

No. I suggested full-size. And, to faciliate portability, I suggested inflatable. The portability thing was the only reason I suggested the blow-up version.

Oh, and my perverted, deviant urges. But just those two things. Nothing at all to do with inflation fetishes. (Freaks!)

So you say that it was a case of "history written by the victor?"

This could mean that Sam's love for Frodo was unrequited.
