I think Sparhawk from the Ruby Throne by Eddings. Certainly a Knight of the Order, but not Lawful Good - Maybe some kind of good but certainly not Lawful. Maybe Choatic Good, or Neutral Good.
Clerics are more the Holy Soldier types. Not the elite of the order.

I'm going to call them Blackguards. Paladins, however, will be called Anti-Blackguards.
Yes yes! I like it too! *grin*.
Yes, because there's nothing at all important about dedicated champions of light and the incarnate righteous swords of the Good pantheons
Exactly. And by implying the opposite, you are simply being true to your name!
Anti-paladins prove that Gygax subscribed to the Augustinian theory of evil as privation of the good.
Preposterous theory! Evil is simply the natural state of all being, which comes naturally when one casts off the shackles of the moral dogmas imposed by manipulative priests wanting tighter control on society. Being evil is just being honest with oneself.
And as such, it's champions should be reprensented in a way to assert their individuality. No self-respecting champion of evil would wear a sobriquet gloryfying its ennemies after all!
Paladins really should be called "Anti-BLackguard", or "Anti-Dreadknights" or something along those lines.
Or better yet: "Lunch".

Anti-paladin sounds too contrived and cheesy for an evil paladin. I would say go with a name like Dread Knight.
I don't love the name "anti-paladin" but it doesn't particularly bother me either. "Dread Knight", on the other hand, sounds considerably more contrived and cheesy to me.
Note, I'm not picking on you Frostflame, just pointing out that taste is subjective so no matter what name they picked, someone was bound to be unhappy with it.

My favorite paladin was the character Paladin from Marvel Comics and he was eviiiiiil! Perhaps you could confuse the daylights out of your players by simply refering to antipaladins as paladins. :)
Just wondering which incarnation you're referring to. The original Paladin in Marvel or the one in Todd McFarlane's Spiderman. I really enjoyed the latter.
I'm looking forward to the nostalgic return and reinvention of the Antipaladin in my PF campaign. The name alone gives me goosebumps and I couldn't imagine Paizo naming them anything else. :)
Just check this out for some retro-nostalgastic goodness... :D

Actually I really enjoyed him in Captain America when Dimondback hired him to help take down the Serpent Society.

Shh...you're welcome, but don't tell anyone Rob. I want to use it to slap down people who don't like "Anti-Paladin." ;)
