Things are going well here. Now not only do I have internet, but I finally have a working cell phone. The weather is lovely - 85 and sunny every day. Afternoon classes are done right on the beach because we're easygoing that way. (Under a big umbrella, so it's not like I'm sitting in the sun.) The bakery down the street has a case full of amazing-looking pastries that are calling to me.How long are you over there for CH? It sounds like you're having fun. :)
The entire month of July. I am enjoying it, although I don't feel settled in. Maybe next week once I'm in my permanent place I will be able to feel like I'm not living out of a suitcase.

Back from ER, for the first time in 7yrs of doing this I have chemical burns on my face and right arm, as hot as it was yesterday I should have been more cautious but I was mad and not paying attention. The Termidor absorbed quickly into my eyelids and face, my arm to a lesser extent, I'm on home rest until next week. :(I am sorry to hear that. Well, if you are going to be home, then enjoy your time at home. I for one hope that you feel better sooner than later.

I think I have or at least had some kind of food poisoning. This has never happened before- yesterday I was feeling really weak and did nothing but either sleep or eat, today, I am staying as close to the bathroom as possible. The only thing that made things worse was that my boss called me on my cell phone after my supervisor spoke to me on my house phone today and accused me of not answering my cell phone to avoid him, when it was in my pocket. Even when I'm not at work, that man pisses me off!!!!! He was calling to tell me that if I was out tomorrow I'd need a doctor's note....which only pisses me off MORE for some reason. Grr...what a jerkwad.
Long story short, it'll be a while before I eat shrimp dumplings again. Which sucks because I normally love the things.
The game on Tuesday was just about what I expected- twinked out and with lots of beer. The DM was tipsy towards the end of the game and the player to my right(the new guy) was rip snorting drunk for the second half of the game. I was a little miffed when the DM(the second twinkiest person there) shook my hand in congratulations saying that I had made a *useful* character for once, but what the hell- I actualley learned a little bit about eternal optimization and the "you're going to get the party killed" stereotype/fear. Still, it was great to see everyone again.
Well, that's about it for me. I'll be on and off today. Here's hoping you mend up well, Moorluck. Don't let your anger get the better of you!

Just a quick hats off to our staff here (where I work) and the CSPD and FBI. We've been robbed a few times (or at least our branches) and none of them have gotten away with it. News Article
