Also, Mrs. M got me a nook.
Hmm, so Orcus is out of the secure compound time to intercept it before it goes any further mwahahahahahahaha

And if so, I demand to know why I wasn't notified ahead of time!
That does annoy me, naming girls Paris, or Riley. Neither one is a female name!
:S
O_o Neither sounds particularly masculine to me. First time I ran into a male named Riley it really took every bit of restraint I had to not say "Isn't that a girl's name?" Which was probably wise as he was much larger than I.
Apologies to anyone present who might possess those names, of course....

What would the Fawltyites look like as Iconics? What classes would we be?
Mystic Pimp Prestige Class from Nymphology. :)

All Hail the Lord President, down with dumb ass names! I also wish to table a amendment to drop all names that begin with Du added as a prefix! Please stop naming kids apple blossom and Kal-el as well.
oh wrong thread.

Apology accepted...especially since you used the other name in your example. ;-)
And, yeah...Paris has been a male name for a looooong time.
And, on a different topic, for anyone who's keeping score: Yes, it's 6:45am on a Saturday and I'm back at work. Gotta love it.

Good morning everyone.
The wedding last night was awesome. They did a surprise cherokee prayer in the middle of the ceremony, which was kind of a neat touch. Lots of nice pictures were taken, hopefully they'll be going up over the next week and we'll get tagged in some so you guys can check out our FB albums.
We bought the bride and groom a PFCR as a wedding gift. They actually asked for it, we're not that big of dorks (are we?)...

Thats cool, the only thing beyond basic at my wedding was a reading from Ghalil Gabran and his experience with marriage.

For Sebastian! And for Taig and Mairk..this is what I had tried to email you before my email got a mind of its own and started sending off stuff for school.
Q: 'Officer -- did you see my client fleeing the scene?'
A: 'No sir. But I subsequently observed a person matching the description of the offender, running several blocks away.'
Q: 'Officer -- who provided this description?'
A: 'The officer who responded to the scene.'
Q: 'A fellow officer provided the description of this so-called offender. Do you trustyour fellow officers?'
A: 'Yes, sir. With my life.'
Q: 'With your life? Let me ask you this then officer. Do you have a room where you change your clothes in preparation for your daily duties?'
A: 'Yes sir, we do!'
Q: 'And do you have a locker in the room?'
A: 'Yes sir, I do.'
Q: 'And do you have a lock on your locker?'
A: 'Yes sir.'
Q: 'Now why is it, officer, if you trust your fellow officers with your life, you find it necessary to lock your locker in a room you share with these same officers?'
A: 'You see, sir -- we share the building with the court complex, and sometimes lawyers have been known to walk through that room.'
The courtroom EXPLODED with laughter, and a prompt recess was called. The officer on the stand has been nominated for this year's 'Best Comeback' line -- and we think he'll win.

Nice.
My gaming friends at our Wedding were the rowdy ones. They got drunk drinking Beotches. I should explain...
My wife's father is Serbian, so at each table there was a bottle of Scotch and a bottle of Rakija (made by her father, and damn it was freakin' strong...). They were getting jugs of Beer and then tipping the Scotch into them, calling this monstrously alcoholic creation a Beotch. This, combined with the Rakija caused quite a few of them to miss a lot of the festivities due to either passing out, throwing up outside or being sent home in a taxi by the others. At least none of them threw up inside like one of Mel's friends (she threw up on her dinner plate as we found out after it was over 80 )

Run! Run as fast as you can! The PMG has infiltrated your home computer with software designed to seize control of your house and trap you inside. He repeats this process with all the Paizo customers, all in preparation for his Venusian Overlords to come and claim our planet.

Oh no, that's just what they want you to think, in order to make their enslavement easier. The Venusians are actually sentient, telepathic oozes with a taste for navel lint and nose hair.

Mairkurion, you need to comment on the FAWTL DDO Issue. This has been a Public Service Announcement. We now return you to your regularly scheduled madness...

Mmmmmm......madnesss
I've been most unwilling
To see this turmoil of mineThe thought of sitting with this
Has me paralyzed
With this prolonged exposure
To near and averted eyes
I think that I've been waiting
Such mileage for empathizing
Now I see the madness in me
Is brought out in the presence of you
Now I know the madness lives on
When you're not in the room
Though I'd love to blame you for all
I'd miss these moments of opportune
You simply brought this madness to light
And I should thank you
Oh, thank you
Much thanks for this bird's eye view
Oh, thank you
For your most generous triggers
It's been all too easy
To cross my arms and roll my eyes
The thought of dropping all arms
Leaves me terrified
And now I see the madness in me
Is brought out in the presence of you
Now I know the madness lives on
When you're not in the room
Though I'd love to blame you for all
I'd miss these moments of opportune
You simply brought this madness to light
And I should thank you
Oh, thank you
Much thanks for this bird's eye view
Oh, thank you
For your most generous triggers
I'd have to give up knowing
And give up being right
You, inadvertent hero
You, angel in disguise
And now I see the madness in me
Is brought out in the presence of you
And now I know the madness lives on
When you're not in the room
And though I'd love to blame you for all
I'd miss these moments of opportune
You simply brought this madness to light
And I should thank you
Oh, thank you
Much thanks for this bird's eye view
Oh, thank you
For your most generous triggers

So there's at least four FAWTLies working on Sat?
I OBJECT!
Went to Office Depot and got 5X8 index cards. A little bigger than the 4X6 will make it a lot easier for use as character sheets in more demanding games like PF and for people who have trouble writing small. Also, got 5x8 plastic sleeves to protect them and allow writing temporary information with vis-a-vis markers.
