I got off early so I decided I'd pick the kids up so she could come straight home... and she brought me a Monster Burger as a reward!!! :D

Well, that sucks. Are you going to consider Treppa's idea?

By the way, we should probably stop calling this "Treppa's idea". If I wind up penniless, turning tricks in Compton, trying to save up bus fare to come home, I wouldn't want her name tied to it :)

If it goes badly, it's automatically Sebastian's idea. It's written right in the Paizo CoC. ;)

I worked for someone who used the "word" "irregardlessly" on a regular basis. Nails on a chalkboard...

And interesting that religion is not the way to your hot button, but grammar is. Strunk & White vs the Bible? Who wins, Moff?

Nope, but I did try deep fried butter once. It was goooooood, but I could feel my heart clogging when I ate it, so I never had it again.

While not strictly "religion", it really gets me when people say things like "All Christians are ...". Usually not realizing that they are talking to one.

And it isn't so much "grammar" that is my hot button. It's more that "stupid" seems to be the new benchmark for "good enough". (I'm not talking about people who have learning disabilities - dyslexia - or ESL people. I'm talking about people who have a college education and can't figure out 3rd grade grammar.)

Quick story:

I used to work at Village Inn (Baker's Square/Poppin' Fresh equivalent to IHOP). I was a cook there for part of the time. We made our pancake batter from scratch. A friend of mine said that he really liked their pancakes. He asked me if I could get him the recipe. I told him that I made it so often I had it memorized. He asked what it was. I started with "10 pounds of egg yolks..." He quickly asked how many did it feed. I really had no idea. But a batch lasted us a couple of days anyway. He ended up passing on the rest of the recipe.

Oh, right. I have heard that before.

You're speaking to a guy who makes the "th" sound when pronouncing "clothes". Most people I know say "close" instead.

No, you're not the only one. I remember it vividly because I was in High School at the time and we saw it on Channel 1.

I knew I should have taken that left turn at Albuquerque.

Most people on this thread are really good. There are the occasional typos -- but we all do that.

EDIT: Ha Ha. I missed it before. (I think I was giving Sebastian a hard time quite a while ago and ended up misspelling that.)

Its not so stressful as it is I am just getting burned out. And the new teacher is just a pain that I don't need. I really don't need an anal retentive pain in the neck right now. I was kinda hoping for a laid back prof. I am considering a class transfer...but then I remind myself that the class is only 4 more weeks long. I am trying take her as a challenge, but finding it hard to care.
