Oh shoot, I didn't realize I could make an opportunity attack against the Solamith. Can I still do that? I'll roll just in case.

OA: Ardent Strike on Solamith Hunter, 1d20 + 33 ⇒ (14) + 33 = 47 vs AC; Damage:2d10 + 17 ⇒ (4, 2) + 17 = 23; Effect: Solamith Hunter is under Divine Sanction (which would mean that his attack would suffer a -4 to hit, which may cause him to miss the others...maybe.

Standard Action: Holy Strike on Dagon, 1d20 + 35 ⇒ (15) + 35 = 50 vs AC; Damage:3d10 + 23 + 2d6 ⇒ (7, 1, 2) + 23 + (5, 2) = 40 radiant damage; If hit Dagon grants CA till the end of my next turn; attack ignores resistances.

Holding to see the results of Akkad's attack before posting.

Male Deva Wizard 29; Planeshifter; Sage of Ages

Ditto, and I think I go before you, Clovis.

Because I'm allowing the OA attack late I'm not going to redo the hunter's attacks.

Akhad free attacks cut's into the hunters clay like skin as molten sulfer flows form the new wound.
Turning his attention to Dagon Akhad divne power slash lops off one of Dagon's many arms.

<Eye of the Abyss, aura 10, enemies that start their turn in the aura are pulled 5 squares>
<Pool; half movement rate and cannot charge>
<Dagon -4 on all attack until end of Akhad's next turn>
<Lightning field (white square), difficult terrain 10 lightning damage if starting turn inside.>
<Melee attacks on Sefra cause attacker 1d10 necrotic damage>
<Grasping Tentacles immediate interrupt, when an enemy attacks Dagon, at-will, Reach 5; targets the triggering enemy, and the target is grabbed >
<Dagon and Joneth are +5 to hit each other>

Jack Ceniarc
Akhad
Mythicris
Clovis Woodsman
Sefra (immobilized)
Elwyndas
Dagon (resist psychic10/8 vs Clovis, resist radiant10 resist cold10, grants CA until the end of jack’s next turn, immobilized)
Solamith Hunter 2 (immobilized, under Akhad's divine Sanction)
Joneth Soulborn (resist 6 demon attacks)

MAP

Mythicris is up.

I14

Male Deva Wizard 29; Planeshifter; Sage of Ages

Mythacris once again flies away before throwing another phantom bolt. Fly to BB14. Phantom Bolt vs. Dagon's Will (includes CA): 1d20 + 35 ⇒ (15) + 35 = 502d8 + 15 ⇒ (4, 6) + 15 = 25 psychic damage and -2 on next attack.

Mythicris' phantom bolt punches through Dagon's mind slowing his attacks and causing a brain hemorrhage.

Clovis is up.

male Halfling Chaos Sorcerer/Wild Mage/Deadly Trickster 29

Move to I9
Chaos Bolt (Will) v Dagon using Subtle Dagger
1d20 + 33 ⇒ (11) + 33 = 44 - inc CA
Damage: 2d10 + 40 ⇒ (1, 1) + 40 = 42 - cold and psychic
Fly to P2

Bouncing irrepressibly, Clovis sends another bolt of multi-flavoured doom towards Dagon before flying clear once more.

Rolled odd, so no secondary attack, which is a pity, but there you go.

Clovis reduces Dagon to just a wisp of its former self but some how the Demon lord's hate keeps its ragged body together as it strives to make one last attack.

<Eye of the Abyss, aura 10, enemies that start their turn in the aura are pulled 5 squares>
<Pool; half movement rate and cannot charge>

MAP

Sefra is up.

minor: Swim the astral sea, every all in close burst 10, can shift her speed, ignoring difficult terrain, each target is unaffected by immobilized, restrained, and slowed conditions during movement
my shift is to R24
standard: healing word on myself use a healing surge and gain 6d6 + 22 ⇒ (1, 5, 3, 3, 6, 5) + 22 = 45 and on Jack and Dagon takes 6 radiant damage
Save vs immobilized 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 1 = 3

Shimmering illusions of the astral sea float around Sefra's allies.

Male Deva Wizard 29; Planeshifter; Sage of Ages

I'm not using the free shift.

If you are shifting give me your new positions.

Elwyndas is up.

male Halfling Chaos Sorcerer/Wild Mage/Deadly Trickster 29

Clovis is out of range, but that's a sweet power you have there Sefra.

Male Eladrin Barbarian

Sefra's free shift to W10.
1d20 + 34 ⇒ (4) + 34 = 382d10 + 3d6 + 29 ⇒ (4, 7) + (1, 3, 3) + 29 = 47
Kensei Control - spend AP to reroll attack roll.
1d20 + 34 ⇒ (13) + 34 = 47

Elwyndas returns to the fight surrounded by the astral glow of Sefra's power and stabs mightily at the demon facing him.

If he is killed, I can do other things.

Elwyndas' perfect strike fells the demon lord severing its tiny head from its ravaged body. The demon's body bubbles into sludge that mixes quickly with the brackish water from the pool forming goo that clings to everyone in it.

The hunter seeing Dagon fall sacrifices its remaining life in a huge explosion engulfing everyone except for Clovis and Mythicris.

Jack, attack vs reflex, 1d20 + 33 ⇒ (19) + 33 = 52, hit
Akhad, attack vs reflex, 1d20 + 33 ⇒ (15) + 33 = 48, hit
Sefra, attack vs reflex, 1d20 + 33 ⇒ (10) + 33 = 43, hit
Elwyndas, attack vs reflex, 1d20 + 33 ⇒ (15) + 33 = 48, hit
Joneth, attack vs reflex, 1d20 + 33 ⇒ (19) + 33 = 52, hit
Damage = 5d10 + 10 ⇒ (5, 3, 6, 2, 10) + 10 = 36

Take your damage and prepare for the harder challenge to come when you storm the keep.
Congrats everyone you just killed a major mythological entity without losing anyone.

Spoiler:
You might have missed that Joneth has had to pull out of this game. He posted on the discussion thread a couple of days ago.

How long do we have to rest? Enough for a short or an extended rest? I am thinking short, but I just wanted to clarify. Yowza that explosion has an insane range, I need to get me one of those.

I'll take a short rest and spend two Healing surges, does anyone have any abilities that would add HP to HS spent resting? When I get done resting, I'll trigger Virtue to gain 52 temp hps.

Akhad kneels in prayer to Bahamut and takes a moment to rest, giving thanks to the Platinum Dragon for aiding in their victory over the daemon, Dagon.

Jack returns to his natural form and stumbles out of the pool, spitting out water. "****ing demons. Need to stop biting the damn things."

Short rest, spending 3 healing surges.

I cannot, but I have some dailies that can healing without using surges. If need be, since I am currently tapped out on encounter power healing until I take a short rest, and then I would need another to be ready for any future battles.

No worries, I can manage either way.

Blast 5, you were right on the edge of it.

You won't be able to take an extended rest but 15 minutes is reasonable.

No problemo, Does anyone need any healing despeartely and not have very many surges to go? With the ability to take 2 short rests I can put out some powerful healing if anyone needs it before they use any other surges.

Sefra hands glow and her wounds start to mend, using a healing word on herself and anyone else who may need it. 6d6 + 22 ⇒ (2, 1, 4, 1, 6, 3) + 22 = 39

I could use some to conserve my HS expenditure. How many extra HPs would I gain?

Cure light wounds, you get a healing surge + 22 without spending it (daily), cure serious wounds, you get 2 healing surges + 22 without spending them (daily), or I can give you a healing word that you would spend a surge but you woudl gain an additional 39. Or I can do a mass cure light wounds, everyone gains a healing surge healing + 28 without spending a surge (daily)
I have healing flowing out of my yang it seems

I'll take the Healing word please, dont want ya to blow your dailies, save em for emergencies :)
So now I'll spend only 2 HS, one for a surge and another to use Virtue

I have 4 more healing words that can go to anyone who needs them.

male Halfling Chaos Sorcerer/Wild Mage/Deadly Trickster 29

If you can spare one for Clovis, he'll heal back to full with one surge. Let the frontliners have first go with them though.

With Joneth no longer being with us you can for sure have one of them. Rerolling the bonus since it is seperate with each casting, and each casting heals 2 people or one person twice. Call out if you want it. this is the bonus you get 6d6 + 22 ⇒ (5, 6, 2, 1, 4, 6) + 22 = 46

male Halfling Chaos Sorcerer/Wild Mage/Deadly Trickster 29

Blimey. That bonus is more than his surge :D Thank you very much.

Male Eladrin Barbarian

Elwyndas raises his spear and lets forth a barbaric yawp.

Despite a rough start, I managed to stay clear the rest of the fight, so I don't need any healing.

I should have the inner keep ready by tonight.
