"Let's see if we can find a boat first, it should be safer."
"What about one of these rowboats?" He looks around to see if the group has gathered any attention.

"If you say so. How do they work?" She asks, looking nonplussed at the wooden domes.

"Ummm, wha..." Until now, Philip never knew a skeleton could have his jaw hanging open...until now. "You...uhh...sit in them. And they go on the water...and you row..." Seeing him lose Ash completely at this point, he just says, "Trust me."
Ash simply looks at Philip, then a the wooden lumps, then back at Philip.
"Oh, I can trust you. Just you will have to show me all about these boats." She adjusts her gear and gets ready to help.
"There just isn't a great need for boats in a land of nothing but sand." She explains.
"What about one of these rowboats?" He looks around to see if the group has gathered any attention.
Filleox consults his companions . "Do you think these boats belong to anyone? Is it normal just to borrow one to take it to the lighthouse and back? Should we ask someone? What do you think?"
"I don't think we should announce our intentions to anyone."
"Why not? We're not planning to attack anyone, or do anything illegal or disruptive, are we?"
"Yeah but, I don't know if Themon has spies or other people watching out for other people on his trail, like us."
"I'll admit that someone who summons demons and devils probably isn't good...
"...but does that necessarily mean he's hostile? I'm not good either, you know. I'm sort of between good and evil, if you know what I mean. I believe that both good and evil are necessary to keep balance in the world. But my greatest desire is to restore Eox.
"Maybe Themon is the same way. What do we know about Themon, anyway? He built a bunch of towers, and imprisoned a succubus and an erinyes... and what else? Maybe Themon, like Gerov, foresaw the cataclysm and prepared these towers for it? Maybe we WANT him to know we're coming, if it will speed our search for him. I'd want to talk to him as soon as possible, and find out what he knows.
"And anyway, we're going to the lighthouse to look for GEROV, not Themon. We heard that GEROV was seen walking on the water near the lighthouse.
"And finally, if there are any spies around, those spies are bound to see us taking a boat to the lighthouse anyway. We can't keep that a secret, can we?
"I'm not trying to be argumentative, here. Seriously, do we know something about Themon to suggest that he may be hostile to us? I can't remember, at the moment."
"Look, I just don't think we know for sure what is going on right now. And you could be right, but there is so much we don't know either about him or Gerov. How do we know they want Eox returned to normal. They may both like it this way, especially if, like Ash here, they either look alive, or are alive. I think caution is warranted here."
Filleox sighs, and mutters "I still don't see how taking someone else's boat is discreet..."
He looks up at the others, and says, more loudly "...but I don't know. What do the rest of you think?"
Ash shrugs. "The Asp is out of the bag now any way. Though discretion is the better part of valor. SO, we've announced our intentions, no one's come yelling up to say no and Philip has some boating lessons to give." Ash pauses and looks thoughtful.
"Yup, I think we're good to go."
"Yeah, like the good lady says, we are ready to row, he he"
"Well we could see if anyone will mind taking a boat, no need to cause trouble. Or could we simply...buy one?"

Filleox has no cheek muscles with which to smirk, but there's a bit of mirth in his voice. "I can imagine the response now: 'Sure, they're all mine. Pay ME for them.'
"But seriously, I don't think it would hurt to ask. Come to think of it, is money worth anything anymore, in these strange times?"
"Yeah, let's see if anyone is interested in parting with one of the fine vessels. Sorry Twig, he he."
Philip will look around the beach area for someone to ask about borrowing a boat.
Staying close to the 'Non-combatants' as people search about.
"Oh..so that's an ocean."

"Guys, I think I found something. They probably have a boat for sale. They may even take us there themselves!" He turns to lead the others to the boathouse.
Ash nods and follows Philips' call. Gently ushering the few shes' watching over to come along as well.
Filleox follows Philip as well.
Philip stops for a moment, wondering What in the hell are they doing? They can't be fishing for food, could they?
He decides the direct approach will suffice, so he approaches one of the skeletons, who is dressed in the robes, and asks "Excuse me, we are looking to either rent or book passage on one of your boats. By the way, what are you doing over there?", pointing at the other skeletons pulling on the net.
"Lead the way then" Philip says to the dockmaster.
