Pretty good, other then the massive snow storm I hit on the way back home. It took me 45 minutes to drive 16 miles at one point.

What were you going for again? Slipped my mind.

Dark Archive

Highway patrol dispatcher test.

Another stretch it took me over an hour to drive 26 miles. A two and a half hour trip up turned into a five hour trip back.

Did you have to replace your windshield? :D

I think I am going to bail for a short while. Watch the movie and help the hubby get set up to get his art scanned in.

I'm terribly sorry, I couldn't resist.

No, but it was hell on my windshield wipers. :P I really need to not post without my contacts in.

I believe she got the bronze last night, unless we're talking about a different competition..?

They haven't awarded the figure skating medal, they still have the long program and the freestyle to go. Why do I know so much about figure skating? I have daughters punk! :D

I think they award a number of different skating medals throughout the event...like the one that Lysacek (sic) recently won without doing the quad (much to the Russian's chagrin).

The posting rate is kinda subdued tonight, which is fine by me. :)

I'm guessing this thread will actually stick around for a while.

Someone should let ESPN Radio know. they were reporting she was third going into the other two events.

You will lose him for probably about 200+ hours.

I second Mac's assessment.

I'm assuming by your tone that he loves it...? I tolds him he would my precious! ;)

Are you fing serious! I bought and watched this movie only just last week! I love Michael Crichton (y'know, him being my favourite author and all). I've read all of his books (even 2 out of his 5 non-fiction) and watched all of his movies at least once (even the crappy ones... Congo anyone?). I can't wait until his last one comes out. I thought Pirate Latitudes was pretty sweet and wouldn't mind watching that as a movie.

It is an exellent game, I haven't gotten to far into it and I made some stupid mistakes like accidently selling all my ammo for my hunting rifle. Caps are hard to come by on this, and I'm haveing a helluva time finding where the 'Family' is hiding with the kid Ian. :)

And in my defense she sat back in the bedroom playing her x-box for 4.5 hours. :P

I guess I need to get dressed and head out the door, have a good one guys.

Ah. Sorry to hear that. :(
Yeah, if all my PbP die out, I am goone bring back Ravenloft, he he...*insert evil grin
You're gonna GM a Ravenloft game? Please let it be Pathfinder RL.
Yeah thinkin' about it
I'd like to call dibs on a slot then. I haven't played in a Ravenloft game in forever.
Here is the old recruitment thread. If I decide to do it, then this is what I will continue with.

I actually wanted to play in that one, but I missed out and didn't bother to post as it was already full by the time I found it (which by the way was only a day after you posted it... damn it filled up quickly!)

I love Ravenloft and it's something that I would love to be playing in here as a PbP.

Dude, I can help you find anything you need to. The Family isn't that hard to find and I can even give you some pointers about how to get the Unique Perk when dealing with The Family.

Caps are initially very hard to come by. It's actually worth just picking up a buttload of crap and selling it early on to get as many caps as you can.
The other thing you need to do is find maybe half a dozen weapons (both Melee and Guns) and concentrate on them and them alone. Sell all the other guns and their ammo. There are too many different weapons to try and keep up with all of them.
I would suggest making yourself a Shishkabob as your Melee weapon of choice, with a Sledgehammer as your go to guy until you can get the plans and make it.
As for guns, go with a Shotgun, Assault Rifle, Sniper Rifle, Rocket Lancher and later on, a Plasma Rifle. Probably a Pisto of somekind as well. Of course what you really want is to find the Unique versions of each of these, but that's a fair bit down the track. Ditch that Hunting Rifle first chance you get a better gun, it's too slow for the damage it does.

Gaaah, must resist urge to buy...new pc to play it on!

DOn't get a PC, just buy a XBox 360 and become one of us.

You will be assimilated.

Bah! I play it on my PC.

Seriously Eric... do yourself a favour. It is worth buying a new PC just to play it.

Fallout Wiki

I HIGHLY recommend going through the game w/o a guide. But this helped me ALOT when I got stuck.

Shiny!

The only reason I bought the Guide was for the double sided Poster Map of every site in the game. I've barely touched the Guide itself, but damn that Poster Map (laminated now) has been an absolute godsend. The have been a few times I've walked right around a site and not found it because it's hidden down a crevice or something.

How did I know you'd be playing a chick as well? ;)

Yeah those guys are part of one of the Sub-Quests. You'll find them scattered around the map, but they're always at the Super Duper Mart early on (plus, their Armour is pretty sweet early in the game).

Yeah Andromeda Strain was pretty good. Did you watch the telemovie remake they did a few years ago? I think it had Benjamin Bratt in it.

I was afraid to watch it. I hate bad remakes, and the previews didn't make me think this was going to be good.

So, how was it? If it was good, I'll Netflix it. :)
