Good afternoon to you.

Heya, CJ. How has your weekend been?

Quiet, the kids just got back from camp and then they went to go play at a friends house.

Working a bare little on my campaign to try to update it to PFrpg. Thought about posting questions on the relevant threads for it but am lazy still so I will work a bit at a time on it.

Plus watching movies with the wife.

How is your weekend?

Good. I got the new monsters done, and I'm working on a couple of other RPG things (query to KQ, a set of magic items I plan to post on the boards, and a PFS scenario query). Plus watching the worst weekend of football.

And ToTP! :)

Lifes little things make me happy.

I may throw in X-Men, or Empire Strikes Back after this. Of course Arden wants to watch Empire Records, but I. AM. DONE. WITH. CARS.

I can handle Empire Records; I like that movie. That's a compromise.

Not for a long time now...

Painkillers are making me mega drowsy. I fell asleep on the lounge last night and then went to bed at 7pm when Melodie woke me up. I then woke up at 7am. I don't think I've had 12+ hours of sleep in years (close maybe, I think I had 10 a little while a go, but not 12).

Sore. But the Painkillers help. I just wish they didn't make me want to fall asleep. :/

Nope, sorry. I'm not even sure I have that issue. And for me to look I'd have to go to the storage shed and pull out all my original Dragons & Dungeons (which is something I've been meaning to do for a while anyway...)

Pat -

I saw that you signed up for the e20 patronage. What's your take on it? Given my recent job status, I'm still waiting to see what the Super Geniuses are going to do as that's the route I will likely go.

ROFLCOPTER SPINNING AND SPITTING COFFEE ALL OVER THE ROOM!

Evening to everybody.

I am fine and how is everyone there?

We had a good PFRPG session last night.

I went shopping and bought a few nick-nacks (sp? with a "k"?) and another novella: The Ship of Ishta. I hope it is pretty good. I already finished The Sword of Rhiannon. I believe that it was originally titled The Sea Kings. That novella was by Leigh Brackett who authored The Empire Strikes Back screenplay. I also used the novella's main character as inspiration and namesake for my PFRPG character.

Hopefully this novella will be good also and I will get pretty far into it tonight.

Holy crap, the Sanchize just threw a TD and Jets are now on top in the 4th. Is Rivers going to stand there agape and take that? Tick ...tock

I really wanted to see a good version of Princess of Mars. Guess I will have to wait a few more years for one.

Is Australia any good? I've watched the Apes, didn't care much for the remake.

Yes it is as a matter of fact. I liked the remake I just hated the end of the movie. The wife had not watched it as of yet so we are sitting down for it right now. She seems to like it so far.

I'm going to try to get myself into reading some fiction (fantasy, even) soon. I just picked up some on a whim over a week ago based on some of the comments I've read here on Paizo and will hope for the best.

The game has been the equivalent of watching paint dry, but, at least the winner is in doubt.

Asylum made the shark octopus movie. Uggh, even if it did have Debbie Gibson in it.

She was cool back in the day. ;)

What was impressive about her as a 17 year old teenbop star was that she wrote and produced the stuff herself instead of being a created image (including music, lyrics, and image) of a music industry label. Unless I am mistaken, she performed for a good while on broadway afterward and did a bit of choreography too.

You might want to look into the Planet Stories books. They are Paizo published now. Of course, I guess those could be the comments you were referring to.

The book I got today is one of those as is the one I read last week. I did not realize til just now that Paizo publishes them. However, I think the one I read last week was published by someone else although it is one of those that they are printing.

Ugh. I remember Tiffany, and I remember when her handlers decided she could barf on Beatles songs.

I have to admit Debbie Gibson's "Electric Youth" was catchy in its way.

I'm pretty peculiar about the sci-fi that I read. Those are a lot of the older ones that are being reissued, right?

Yes, they are old. In this case I like it partly because it is a different writing style due to the age.
