Oh yeah; the Super Bowl is in Miami this year.

Since my team lost last week, I too must say Go Vikings, they have a few former packers playing for them, I want to see The vikings vs. the saints just to see sharper vs one of his previous teams, and against his former packer quaterback Favre

GRRRRRR!

Thanks. It's kinda early yet to know for sure. I did a little cleaning, which might have helped my mood. The big mood booster was getting the veggie seeds planted in the little indoor "greenhouse." The arugula and basil are already starting to poke up tiny green leaves. (Yay!)

NFL pre-show is starting. It's going to be a QB clinic between Warner and Brees.

Well, I had to get "coached" by someone from HR when I told my ex-manager that he was lying (loudly enough for plenty of others to hear me) and slammed a door. That's about the worst I've ever gotten--of course, in my (ever so slight) defense he tried to tell me I was going to take a pay cut if I moved to another department.

I tend to be sarcastic and passive-aggressive when I get angry.

Those are the ones you have to keep a close eye on. :P

I'd believe that of Taig. (Conflict avoidant? It's my default style, but once I have an enemy, I switch over to conflict pursuant.)

The work incident was probably good for everyone involved, if you want my opinion. :P

The more I read the comments, the more I'm certain they're not talking about my item. I still enjoy following the contest, though, and I'll stick my neck out there from a critique from Clark.

That is very cool about your seeds. If you're affected by the winter season at all, I imagine seeing signs of spring is very helpful.

It's something I'm working on. I need to just stop and tell someone when they're pissing me off. It'll make me feel better when I get it off my chest, and it might get that person to stop doing whatever it is that's pissing me off. I have found when I've "blown up" about something, I feel better afterwards. Of course, I don't need to get to that point, if I address it early. :)

The ex-manager, though, he seems like an unrepentant a!!&**+. I admire his consistency.

Damn! What's happened to the boys since then? Are they still in prison?
The two I was friends with who weren't the victim were sentenced to 15 years in 1997 so they will be out in five years. The other two who were charged were given probation in exchange for their testimonies against Mike and Ken, the two ringleaders. The really sad thing is that I was in ROTC, played paintball, and gamed with them. They did a complete 180 in the year after I graduated to turn into what they were by this time. Ken's brother and I were the founders of the Ace of Spades, which was a paintball club for ROTC kids whn we started it in 1990. We left the Spades when we graduated and headed off to basic training, but figured that the club was safe in Ken's hands, since he was an ROTC officer and a straight A student. I guess you never really know what you are leaving behind do you.
Do you know what their motive was for killing the boy?

He turned them in to the police after they started breaking into cars to steal steroes and stuff.

I used to just rip them a new one, if I didn't just out right knock the living sh** out of them, ask Solnes about the boss she had who cussed at her where I could hear it. It took me a long time to learn not to resort to violence first. Getting arrested 6 times for assault will help with that. :/

I hear ya, and I think I've gotten a lot better (especially as evidenced by my relationship with Woman). I still value my shouting match with my the little germanic twit I had to take a seminar with in my first year. Sweet memories.

I had gym class with both of these guys.

My kids were baptised at the church where the victim taught.

My wife stopped me from doing that one time. My daughter was 4 and she wandered near a display airplane at an airshow. The owner grabbed her arm and yanked her away and told us that we needed to teach our daughter to control herself. I was half a second away from decking the guy, but my wife managed to convince me that getting arrested wasn't a good idea. She had to keep reminding me about every 5 minutes too.

So, yeah, if someone messes with my family, I am prepared to do something.

I blame/thank Solnes for me changing. She is a very non confrontational person, and detest violence. I quit competition fighting after she went and watched one of my fights, she told me after that she didn't think she could handle that... I havn't been in a ring since, and she kinda freaked out when I showed up with blood on my shirt one night. Between her and the kids I've grown up alot. I still do think there ARE things worth beating someone down for though.

hung out with friends last night. Went to a bikini bar, city code does not allow nudity, and alcohol served in the same establishment. One of the friends I as with works there part time. Yup still nice breasteses. then went to perkins with the whole bunch. overall a very good night.

I still think you have a good shot, especially from the flavor. :)

Winter kinda sucks for a lot of people. For me, I don't think it's the weather so much as a bunch of family-related stress that is jammed into just a few months.

Gardening hits my sweet-spot. Once they are transplanted in the growing bed outside, it gives me plenty of daily physical work and distracts my overactive brain. It gives me something that depends on my daily care and I can't slack off on (especially the heirloom tomatoes). The fresh produce is just icing on the cake.

She asked, and I kept forgetting to actually answer. I wasn't dodging the question, I kept prattling on about other stuff, and the whole "hotel sharing" question dropped out of my brain.

I think I'm finally on the road to recovery. Mine started 16 days ago, and it's finally started to settle down.

Hopefully, your family will be over their cough soon. And I hope your cough goes away soon, too, David.

Well, it's been looking bad for the Cardinals as the Saints have already answered back three times and it's still only 1st quarter.
