Beat you too it.

And yah, I didn't notice the Asian woman in the blue bathing suit getting a massage either. The oil glistening on her hot tanned flesh. The soft, compact curves accentuated by her short but inviting and sexy stature....

Yum.

We all know about Jeremy's deviance... in fact I think a lot of us love deviance on general principles.

I'll say thank you for the absent Kruelaid who is lounging poolside at a very posh hotel as we speak.

More hot milfs today, too.

Is it just me or does the name Stiffler occur to you long before you remember Sean William Scott? I just say Stiffler and people get it immediately despite how much he's done since then.

No matter whatever he does, he's always going to be typecasted as Stiffler. He can only wish he gets a chance like Neil Patrick Harris to break out of the Doogie role and become Barney or a caricature of himself in the Harold and Kumar flicks...

I must have forgotten you were in the Philippines. Did Kruely come to visit you?

I haven't been on a project using the Siemens turbines yet. GE was good to work with. The top of the nacelle is about 270 ft (~85M) or a 27 story ladder climb. Their lead QC rep was a little ~ 125 lb lady who could just fly up these ladders. Both their QC reps were knowledgeable and willing to work and adapt. It wasn't unusual to climb 4 or 5 a day. Fortunately I never had to do more than 1 1/2 or so in a day. It bites to get old.

I haven't had to work a site with the Clippers, but I have not heard good things second hand.

The GE turbines are 60 ton self contained units. Yes that small looking box on top is 60 tons. Each blade is 40' so the rotor diameter is about 85'.

I've had good experience with Siemens components in chemical environments like IC wafer fabs though.

:) Ft. Hood at the moment. Transferred last year after seven years at Hunter Army Airfield in Savannah, GA. I know Sharoth from there and I've made the drive to Houston to game with Kirth and the gang.

Edit: Forum software ruined my joke. Should have spoilered it or something. Ah well.

Ah, Texas. You lucky GI gamer, you.

Lucky? You have a strange idea of luck friend. :) Ft. Hood was the last place I wanted to go. They didn't stress 'you will deploy' at the welcome brief for nothing.

Even after four deployments, I still don't love it. Tolerate it, sure. :) Texas hasn't been bad for the half a year I've had here tho.

We're pleased to have them here!

When I first got stationed at Ft Carson we had all 3 brigades here until they deactivated 2nd.

Wow, four deployments. Thank you. I know that can be real tough on you and the family. My brother, surprising everyone, has only seen one deployment in the middle east. Saying it was 'real hard' on him and the family just doesn't seem to give it the gravity it deserves.

The Siemens nacelles seem like they would be tougher to walk on at height. What does he do manufacturing or field work?

Neither actually. He's one of the fancy smancy guys upstairs, doing financial analysis and business planning for the European and Asian markets. His "field work" consists of things like a trip to China to help look at a possible merger with a factory over there (and tasting the local cuisine... mmm, cow throat, cooked jellyfish and chicken feet... o.0).

Lot's of turbines where I live in China. Weihai. One of the windiest places in China. I think they're up to 10% of their local electricity from wind.

The engineers they brought to inspect the Chinese mills weren't exactly all that impressed it seemed. Something about them being leaky, with sand and rain getting into the gears, and the crawlspace underneath the gears being full of mud (sand + rain).
