Gary Teter wrote:super happy fun dotWell, looking at the above quoted post with internet explorer, I'm just seeing a great big blank area, so the purported super happy fun dot seems to be just an invisible dot as far as I'm concerned....
Edit:
I have flagged the quoted post and this one for display problem, on the basis of a dot that is not there on some browsers may well have a problem with display... :)
Heheh... Gary got flagged.

Why isn't there a Pathfinder theme for Firefox, yet? I am tired of Paizo staff being lazy and greedy and junk.
Well...I'm really not joking about wanting a Pathfinder theme. What? Me greedy? HEY!
The saying is, if you want something done right, do it yourself.
The instructions you need to get started...

See, I'm more of an IDEAS man...but I wouldn't mind borrowing your whip. It's more the kind of machine that I understand. And you sure located those instructions fast...

I think I'm safer hanging onto that. ;-)

It took the time for the page to load once I got smart and tried a general search instead of punching logical terms into the Mozilla help site.
I'd be tempted to try making a theme if I didn't have roughly the same skills at computer graphics as a cucumber. My old attempts at that kind of thing were pretty lousy when I tried a few years ago.

There is a Pathfinder "persona" that is used by Foxit Persona tool. Don't ask me where I got the header and footer file because I forgot, but search the boards and you should be able to find the links.

Warning: There is a post by Gary on page one with a large dot. Then another. If the dot appears to move on either of these posts, this is a warning sign that you are having a psychotic episode.
If either dot appears to move immediately turn off your computer and check yourself into a mental institution for electric shock therapy. After one week, check again, if the dot is now still you are cured. If it still appears to move you have one week to live. Sorry.

Is that a whip in your hand or are you just happy to see me?

*surprised that a dot can cause such exitement*
Now wouldn't the Happy Fun dot be need a "dangerous" label, if the product descripton really fits?
Really. I wouldn't look away from that thing if it was nearby.
It seems ... dangerously hypnotic. So it must be watched carefully, lest it might suddenly disappear or do other unexpected acts, like moving. *looks suspiciously at the super happy fun dot*
*is even further surprised to realize that I feel quite exited by these mysterious dots*

You guys have got way too much time on your hands.
Great, now I have another dot.
On a completely unrelated point - I thought the RSS feed listed all the latest posts. This is clearly not happening (at least for me). What's going wrong?
And, if there a way to ignore any of the (1 new) tags next to threads that you took a look at, but don't want to go there again? To save your sanity? I tend to rightclick each (x new) link in the RSS feed to see what's been happening...
*Insert apparently obligatory inflammatory remark about lazy paizo employees here*
Cheers!

The RSS feed for a thread should list all the latest posts, but on fast-moving threads it's possible for the RSS server to get out of sync with the website. (But it should also get back in sync reasonably quickly.) Are there any specific feeds you're seeing this on?
The only way to clear the "(x new)" on a thread is to click on the thread. Or avert your eyes. But you really do want to read those threads. The new posts are calllllling you...

Wow, I got a reply. I never get a reply. I'm not sure this is me. Can someone check this is me - look for the dots! *ahem*

Yeah, err, maybe I'm talking about the wrong things here. When you click on http://paizo.com/paizo/messageboards - down the left hand side of the page is a list of threads. That's what I'm talking about. It has an RSS logo on it. I'm presuming that's a feed..? I haven't subscribed, I've just assumed all the latest posts were on there. This is sounding more and more silly the longer I type. Someone make sense please?

No, no.... noooooooo! I don't have the time!
Quite literally. I don't. I have to go to bed.
