Which do you like better: the giggling quadruplets, or the mom when she coyly buttons her shirt back?

Pancakes.

Heathy has deep thought?

I just always thought he babbled about nothing on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on...

The mom is a babe, but the kids are cute too.

Liberty's Edge

The sound of children laughing fills me with hate! And I would shoot the mom.

Scarab Sages

I agree, pancakes. Way to cut through a false and ultimately meaningless argument to the heart of what is important, Daigle.

Mom. Definetly the mom. Mom. Yeah. Mom.

With walnuts and hot maple syrup. And that mom can serve them.

I have to say that me and my three brothers are very upset at you objectifying our mother like that.

Shuddup, kid, and tell your mom to hurry with those pancakes!

Damn you, Daigle!

2. Ogay. We make all these devices, stairmasters, bench pressers, all that crap to give us big thews.
THEN we put a little f@$&ing button in the car door to a motor that will roll up the window for us, because that spinning hand cranky thing is just too exhausting.
ALSO, when that little motor gets sand in it's figurative buttcrack, it costs $200 to replace.
F!~+!

Actually, those are handy to close the other three windows in the car when it starts raining and I'm driving.

Also, you can get an annoying passenger to stick his head out the window, then raise the window on his neck and cut off his air supply. Ah, sweet silence!

Well, I for one wish you the best on getting caught up on your unexpected bills, Heathy.

Interestingly, my driver's side window has an "auto-up" feature, in addition to the relatively common "auto-down" - where you push the button all the way up (or down) and it keeps going by itself. It says it has a safety shutoff if it meets any resistance, but I don't trust it.

Especially if it's made in China. That's from a man who knows.

The Japanese make a lot of their tiny car gizmos here. Freighters are leaving for Mexico every day, man.

Thanks, man...I just have to tighten the belt a little bit for a while. I had a heinous brake job recently, and s+$% just keeps needing repairs. I'm gonna rope-a-dope life, though. It's gonna get tired of hitting me in the face, then I'm gonna kick it's ass.

Sympathies, unexpected bills like that always suck, and I can only imagine the smell if the window is stuck down and your fur gets wet in the rain.

If it makes you feel any better, my hand crank for my window died. It cost almost $200 to replace. ALthough my wife did take it to the dealer.

Silver Crusade

With my old car, the back right window would just kind of slide down on its own. You could put it up, but it would slowly fall again.

A friend of mine pulled apart the door and braced the window shut, because fixing it wasn't worth the money on that old car.

Agreed. If you need to come here and vent, Heathy, it's free.

F#$@!!!

I actually got a hand crank fixed myself once; this motor thing, all I could figure to do is tear the motor out and prop the window with a piece of wood.
I ripped the door open on this motorized thing, then consulted the interwebz, and came to the conclusion that I might really fubar the whole thing badly. The son of b**+#es put the motor in with rivets, not screws. Bastards!

meh; it's got 152,000 miles on it, so the end IS in sight.

This'll be the last bucket of money I drop on this beast.

Heathy, what are you driving anyway? That rivet design saved them $3 in production and is designed to give the mechanic an extra hour of work at $50-$100/hour. They don't care about the owner.

And at 152k the end is in sight? I plan on taking my Honda over 200. The last one went at least 250. I can't be sure cause the odometer crapped out at about 190.

I got a 98 GMC Jimmy; maybe it'll keep going.
It runs great, just the peripheral stuff is getting kinda worn down.
I'm dreading the cap in trade though.

98 Jimmy? Had it long? If you like it and it runs good, I'd say stick with it.

Disclaimer: Part of my problem is I get attached to cars if they're any good at all. I might keep them going past the economically optimum point. If the engine is still good and she wants to run I'll put up with a lot. I've got a 95 Subaru Impreza(my wife's idea) . It's been pretty solid mechanically and it's good in the New England snow. I'm running it without radio, rear window wiper, sometimes in slow traffic in the summer I have to turn the heat on to keep her from boiling over. Put some money into the body last year but there's new rust I noticed a couple months ago. The body is just going to rot out.

Yeah; had it about 8 years. I do the same thing pretty much. It'll disintegrate around me before I get a new one. I think it's starting to want too much money to keep going though; I don't know yet.

They're good; kids all had swine flu two weeks ago.

Oh, yeah; tamiflu's some expensive stuff too.
