You will likely know of Gesrio, he's a famous old Pathfinder, recently moved to Magnimar, a DC 10 Knowledge (local) will tell you that, but it is not required. He however, knows of you.

Hi all! I'm at work so no character sheet until later this afternoon, but I wanted to gauge what class or classes are needed. I'm open to playing any class so if there's a niche to fill I'm all for it. How are we doing the character sheets, the old online program I used to use is gone now.
Create a profile for your character, and have your character sheet on that, in the format used by Reinala and Shaan.
He have a half-orc cleric, a human bard, human ranger, half-elf paladn (probably), and gnome sorcerer. So really, play whatever you want!

Hello all. I'm just learning how this works so if I do something wrong I apologize in advance. I'll make my character tonight and have it posted tomorrow. Now I just have to decide what to be... ;)
Sorry for the delay; I ended up spending more time watching my nieces than expected today. I should be able to get the character sheet up some time tomorrow.
Excellent, excellent. Glad to see them coming fast and fearsome.
Stats and background are finished, and I should be able to add a description and flesh out the tactics section tomorrow.
I decided I wanted to have a decently-sized home for this character; keeping up appearances is of some importance for him. I deducted 90 gp from my initial budget to account for the difference between average and wealthy lodgings, and accounted for the extra expenditure as part of the character background. If you'd like I can come up with a description of the house he's renting as well. I also still need to come up with names for his dogs, siblings of a breed I envision to be similar to the Kuvasz.
He's fantastic, really love the tie-in with Gesrio, and the inherent plot hooks in his backstory. Very interesting character.
Also the dogs strike me as suiting a Taldan very well.

The wealth per level is on the table p399, it corresponds to 1000 gp for a level 2.
To get the correct template, je cut and oaste one of ours. for the spoilers and the bold characters, look at the bottom of the post window> Just under it you will find a clickable item to show the BBCode tags you can use.

The Magnimar article on the Pathfinder Wiki is still pretty sparse, but should give you some sort of feel for the city. The article on Varisia is, unfortunately, in a similar state; we really need more contributors.
A full article on the city can be found in The Skinsaw Murders, if you have the book available to you. You can also try the Rise of the Runelords Player's Guide. It's a free download, but primarily focused on the region north of Magnimar.

I've finally got everything set so I should have my profile in today, and my backstory is already up. My only question is what do we do for HP, do we roll somewhere on that online tool, use an average?

I think you still got the HP wrong. You should have full HP for first level then half+1 afterwards.
That should mean 10+6=16 for you.
And did you use favored class bonuses?
