Hubby went to bed. I am starting to feel jealous of you guys here, you all interact with him more than I do lately, even when I come home early. :\
I miss my hubby. :(

Sh!ttiest Sh!tty day at work today. >:|

And the work is still not over as I am now at home and still have to do another hour's work of ordering because I could not get the stupid wireless modem to work while at work today...
Add to this the fact that I left an hour after I was meant to finish and still have 4 invoices to enter plus two rosters to complete and I am well and truly over it... :/

I can't wait for D&D and some catching up later tonight!

EDIT: And thank you for the website having problems... I now no longer have to enter the orders. :)

Sorry to hear that mate. My work is getting hairy too, and my daughter is still having problems, which no one seems to be able to figure out. She's been waking up crying at 1-2 am every day this week :/ And now my dog George is gnawing his tail off, like bloody, so I have to take him to the vets to get checked, a nice $200 bill to add to my collection ....

*sigh*

Thanks, Mairkurion!

Patrick, sorry to hear about your daughter and your dog. We had a cat who would bite a lot of his fur off, too. We never could figure out why, but we had to put "the cone" on him when he got infections from doing it.

Flash, sorry to hear you had a crappy day at work. I hope your D&D game is going/went well.

Solnes, Moorluck did say something about our anniversary. Sorry I haven't been around to chat with you. I'm up for some more math, if you've got something for me. :)

Did the Paizo website have issues last night? It seems like it was quiet last night.

So, I overheard a comment in the pet store that seemed, more than pitiful, kinda creepy. I mean, how can you have such a detached view of emotions? I guess I just don't "understand".

Spurious assertion:
You know how neighbors get interviewed after a serial killer is captured? It sounds like the kind of thing they'd say the killer said, right after they tell the interviewers that he seemed like a quiet guy.

Mmmmm....pets.

Yeah, I saw, I had asked him to say so from me as well. :) I was at work and couldn't get on to tell ya. I hope your night went well. What did you guys have for dinner?

Yeah, I should have a lil something for you sometime today. I have one due tonight. :) Thanks!

** spoiler omitted **

Uhm, could you e mail me what so and so said? I am curious. :)

Hunny spent some time in the pet store last night..I had to talk him outta sayin something. :\

Pat,
Sorry to hear about difficulties. How old is your daughter? By "no one" do you mean you have consulted a professional?

As far as morning pie in the face...well, I'll not state the obvious, as I believe my positions on all kinds of pie are well-known on these boards.

I hope no one's done this one yet: Hey baby, falling in love with you was an immediate action. But don't worry, what I want to do about it will take at least a day and a night of full-round actions...

For the well endowed gamer girl:

Nice treasure chest!

Hey, what can I say? I'm a Jack.

Not quite a pick-up line, but since I have no ranks in the Pick-Up Line skill, it's all I can think of... ;P

Okay, leaving for my deposition now..here's hoping everything turns out okay.

Ok well, So much for the boy having good days. He hit another kid today, and then proceeded to threaten to hit and atempt to hit the Asst Principal. You know the sucky part, today he was being rewarded for his good behavior and was supposed to stay for pizza and a movie instead of only going half day.
They have suspended him for 2 weeks, untill we can have a disciplinary meeting. Yay me..
I don't wanna be a mommy today. :\

Is your son starting to treat suspensions as a reward? My wife is a para-pro and has seen that happen.

That's good that you don't make it fun. Does he have any friends at school, that he misses out of seeing when he's suspended?

Not really. He misses the fun things but doesn't have any friends really. I mean..he hit a kid today..I don;t see him doing that to friends. :\

Well, I am going to work on the math paper...Taig it was sent your way as well. :)
Kids are down...'cept the baby...but he is eating. And I feel so bad for him..his throat is hurting. :(

Hmmm...trying to find things about school that he likes. Enough to entice him to avoid getting into trouble.

Cheandy, my dog, is back from her surgery. She is doing well and the bill was $30 - $60 less than I had expected.

Glad to hear it Sharoth. Dogs kick ass!!!

The Exchange

So a Drow, a Half Orc, and a Dwarf are sitting around a campfire, when they start discussing how Bada** their races are.
The Half Orc brags "Yesterday I wrestled a bull bare-handed, and won!"
The Drow scoffs at this and replies "I once bit the head off of a live black mamba."

The Dwarf says nothing as he stands silently stiring the coals of the fire with his penis.

Thanks Mairkurion & Solnes. She is 16, but is developmentally at a 3-month level. She is severely handicapped, has Cerebral Palsy and epilepsy. She might be going through what is called a 'breakthrough' where her body chemistry has changed and her meds aren't working as they should. The neurologist is twiddling with her levels of anti-seizure medication, crossed fingers that it works...

Sorry to hear about your travails Solnes. FWIW, my other daughter had a lot of anger and disciplinary problems growing up. She's now also 16, and she is just coming out of the other side of them. She is actually becoming a very cool kid, and is interested in working with special-needs children, mostly from watching us with our other daughter. So don't give up hope! Stay firm, be strong, and remember that today is today and tomorrow is a brand-new slate. :)

Druids and wood. No need to say more.

Yay! I have internet back! The router is still broken, but apparently when I had tried to just plug in to the modem I had accidentally used the wrong cord (shocking considering the tangled mess of cords I was working with) and that's why it didn't work.

Well I am back from my 10 hour adventure to my job interview. I doubt I will get the job as they are looking for someone who can work as a CNA or an LPN and I am not either of those. Law school is looking better all the time. Oh and the building they had the interviews in was on quarentine because of the swine flu. The only people allowed in were employees and the people being interviewed. :(

Dark Archive

And top of the page too. :)

Sorry to hear that the interview didn't go well. :(

I hope you find something soon.

Dark Archive

It doesn't bother me that much. I really don't want to work in the kind of environment that they have there. The job description was very misleading.

Ugh, I feel like crap. I actually let the boy make his own dinner tonight. Peanut butter sandwiches. I'm afraid to look in the kitchen and see how much of a mess he made. I just couldn't face food. :(

Sharoth, I'm glad your doggie's vet bill was less than expected.

Patrick, prayers going your way for you daughter and dog. I admire the patience and love you must have for both your daughters.

Solnes, sorry to hear about your son. Between you, Lynora, and a co-worker of mine, I'm hearing a lot about boys who don't fit into the current school system scheme.

David, keep plugging away at your job search. I hope something turns up for you.

And hello to Moorluck, Celestial Healer, Mairkurion, Emperor7, Devlyn, Aberzombie, Heathansson, and Sebastian. And everyone else I forgot.
