I'm cooking my Hanukkah brisket now. If you want I will post the recipe.

Shopping almost done. I just have to go back out and get a aby doll and a Lightning McQueen. :D

Okay here is my recipe:

Grandma's Brisket

1 (2 1/2 -pound) beef brisket, thick-cut
1 tablespoon paprika
1/2 teaspoon basil
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon pepper
1 large onions, sliced
2 cloves garlic, peeled, halved
1 1/2 cups ketchup
1 1/2 cups dry red wine
1 1/2 cups water
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 can of Italian style diced tomatos

1. Preheat oven to 325° Fahrenheit.
2. Rinse brisket. Place in roasting pan.
3. Rub paprika, basil, salt and pepper into meat.
4. Scatter onions and garlic over meat.
5. In a medium sauce pan, mix ketchup, wine, water, brown sugar and tomatos. Bring mixture to a boil. Pour over brisket.
6. Cover pan tightly with aluminum foil, tenting so that the foil does not touch the meat.
7. Bake at 325° Fahrenheit for 3 hours.

So, how is everyones weekend so far?

I made Christmas Tree cookies this morning, did a little grocery shopping and right now I'm listening to some holiday tunes and baking a coffee cake.

I added this to my list of recipes on my laptop in the kitchen. Need to buy some of the ingredients. Looks like I'll be going back to the supermarket tomorrow.

I'll be making this for myself on Thursday to eat for breakfast on Friday.

We finished decorating the tree, which we're keeping lightly decorated because of the puppy.

I prepped my adventure for tonight, which is the first PFRPG game for our group! I'm so excited. I hope the characters can capture the silt drake at the end of the adventure, and not kill it. :)

I hope everyone else's day is going well.

New puppy? What breed is it and what's its name?

Sounds like fun, wish I could join in.

Coraline is 9 months old now, and she's a beagle-pug mix (about 75% beagle) and very hyper. She's reminding me why I'm a cat person, but my wife and kids like having her around.

In unum deum?

Spoiler:

Credo in unum Deum, Patrem omnipotentem,

factorem coeli et terrae,

visibilium omnium, et invisibilium.

Et in umum Dominum Jesum Christum,

Filium Dei unigenitum.

Confiteor unum baptisma in remissionem peccatorum.

Et expecto resurrectionem mortuorum.

Et vitam venturi saeculi. Amen.

Of course, my latke aren't entirely kosher, but since we aren't Jewish it's not an issue.

I got a freelance gig! Okay so technically it is doing unofficial conversions of the races from the Diomin setting, but I have official permission to do them, from Hyrum Savage, the owner of Otherworld Creations himself. I'm excited, maybe it will turn into a paying job.
