Work was great but leaving was another story.

My shop had a planned fire drill today to make sure the Fire Dept knew what to do in case there is a fire in the gamma range. For the drill I was supposedly running the computer controls to the gamma range when a fire broke out and I got to call the Fire Dept and say "This is a drill. Blah blah blah." Then someone else got to pull the alarm and send a couple hundred people outside into the rain for the duration of the drill. :-)

About 45 minutes in length.

It was only sprinkling for about 15 and then it really opened up. :-)

About three years ago we had a huge tropical storm come through. Leaks in the roof found their way to the Fire Panel and we had the fire alarm go off three different times with tropical storm (cold and windy, in October) rain falling.

See ya guys. I have a game to watch.

How ?Was? work?

I is still here. :\
I work a late late late night job. This allows me to be home with the ids during the day and hubby to be at home at night so that there is always someone home with them.
But it is going very very very very very very very slowly. Literally shooting myself is looking like something fun to do to break up the boredom. :)

I was kinda confused the very first time (way back in, um, May) you put the website in, and you had .com instead of .net.

Related, but way different site. :)

Ya, I keep forgetting that part. :\

I guess since I don't order anything or mess around with the site I just tend to...meh...forget about it. I don't think I have ever been to the .com site.

Oh no doubt. and if you happen to hit a patron, no harm no foul.

Spoiler:
Unless it is a sunday school teacher who comes in for things they shouldnt even ask about. I had a friend that did that type of job for years, and said that the people who dropped thier families off at church and then came in for things they couldn't legally carry, was just creepy to him. On the plus side they gave him free rentals and he has the largest personal collection of fine adult titles in the state.

Hey Solnes did you get my FB message

I'm good. Today was a busy but wonderful day for me. Tomorrow we are getting 'new' (to us) furniture from a friend of mine, and we are getting our tree. So it will be busy but fun as well. :D

I am sorry your day was rough on you. *hugs* Just remeber you have lots of people here and at home who love and care about ya. :D

I have a few regulars who would probably play with me...uhm...I feel the need to stress that I meant playing with teh Nerf guns....NOTHING else. ;)

I also get free rentals, something the hubby has enjoyed from time to time. And our 'private life' has never been better! ;)
But ya, we get those 'after church' folks too. It was funny, once, I got this couple in who went to my church. They were like, "We won't tell if you don't". :D
And then there was the time we ran into the tee ball coach and his wife at the strip club. lol :)

I had a couple of Lesbian friends drag me to a gay club once. Imagine my surprise to see a male class mate there. He was not ready to "come out" yet and was very surprised to see me. I didn't say anything, but he was really nervous about it.

I love going to the gay clubs. We have one here that is members only, naturally I have a membership, but they do the best drag shows, and the crowd is so much better than just out at one of the local college dance clubs, music is better too! But ya, I have run into someone that worked for my dad out and about...uhm, we both just nodded that "I'll keep quiet if you do" nod. ;)

I have a friend who is gay and in extreme denial about it, and he's miserable.
