Since in all future scenarios, players will have the ability to acquire 2 prestige award points, and since purchasing power is tied directly to one's prestige, I am guessing that the season 0 scenarios that give out 2 prestige award points will be a lot more popular.

Therefore as a public service here are all the season 0 scenarios that give out up to 2 prestige award points:

#3 - Murder on the Silken Caravan
#6 - Black Waters
#9 - Eye of the Crocodile King
#12 - Stay of Execution
#21 - The Eternal Obelisk
#26 - Lost at Bitter End
#27 - Our Lady of Silver
#28 - Lyrics of Execution

This raises a related issue.

I've already scheduled scenarios to be run at GenConOz in September. Most of these are Season 0 sceanarios, and half of these tables are full.

Character conversion allows a bonus number of PA, depending on character level to bring Season 0 characters more in line with Season 1 prestige levels. This is a good "fix" for Season 0 characters.

However, for Season 1 characters playing a majority of Season 0 scenarios, they'll still be left behind in PA, and won't benefit from the PA conversion bonus.

Josh has done an excellent job with the Organised Play 2.0 guide, but there will be situations like this that won't transition perfectly for every player.

Answering my own questions:

1) the scenarios are still fun to play!
2) items found during each adventure listed on your chronicle sheet are another way to gain access to items beyond your character's current access limit; and
3) as more Season 1 scenarios are released, there'll be more opportunities for two-point wins.

Having said that, it would be a nice to allow two-points for successfully completing faction missions in Season 0 scenarios where only a single mission was available. Though as this isn't currently written in the Season 1 guide, I don't anticipate Josh changing it?

Even though the available total of PA for Season 1 is higher, my expectations for average PA per scenario are lower since the 2nd PA point is pretty darn hard to get in most Season 1 scenarios. I worked off the average, and not the maximum possible PA, when building the PA purchasing system. So don't fret over Season 1 players playing Season 0 scenarios as it shouldn't have a huge effect on their ability to gain new items.

I am trying to start a society group in the south 'burbs of Chicago/NW Indiana. Do I understand correctly that we can continue to use Season 0 scenarios??

So do we convert our group's PCs to PFRPG and then play Season 0 and Season 1 scenarios interchangeably? Do I as a DM convert Season 0 scenarios to PFRPG?

Sorry if this has been asked or answered elsewhere, but I haven't been able to easily find the info. It would be nice if there had been a discussion of seasons in the Pathfinder Society Guide to Organized Play, but there wasn't that I have seen so far.

yes, you convert your pcs to PFRPG and can then play the mods interchangeably. as a DM you will need to a bit of on the fly conversion for anything that's not covered by the Bestiary preview. from experience, i can tell you that it's not that hard. read through the pertinent section in the conversion pdf, that'll help a lot. it'll become a lot easier once the bestiary is released.

Thanks, I wanted to make sure that converting stuff was the right thing to do rather than tell my players to play all the Season 0 mods they are going to play before upgrading to PFRPG and then playing just Season 1 mods after that. I didn't know if there was some official way to address this or not. Guess they're being pretty lenient.
