That is true. Or you can get a ring of sustenance so you only sleep for 2 hours every night. Or you can enchant your armor with "Called". With this you can get it on in less than a round if I remember correctly. N/A to this campaign though.

Battle Sorcerer and Eldritch Knight are options. Age is also something to look at. You may be young and one of the most recent 'convicts', or you may be an old timer who managed to survive(in a way that will be revealed in the game).

I think i will try a multiclass Rogue/swashbuckler(complete warrior).
Maybe he will be a long timer who has survived and i will take a single level of barbarian to represent the time he has spend on the island.
I will post a more detailed concept tomorrow.

Looking for a group to play a 3.5 game where you have been charged with horrible crimes(up to you if you actually have committed crimes before, but this is not one of them) and sent to an island far out in the ocean as a death sentence. You will have all your gear and do not have to stay together as a group, though it is advised. You will eventually be able to get off the island(thus proving your innocence since only the innocent get off the island). 32 point buy, 7th level, 19,000 starting gold.
Here is what you can use. Run stuff by me first, and I'll look it over. No psions though, sorry.
Material from Complete Arcane/Divine/Warrior/Psionic is also usable.
Here is Marco Adante. A rogue/swashbuckler/barbarian. If you can approve it i will get working on his personality and background.
How often do the island get new convicts? If you are not one of the new comers, do you have to have been there for many years, or will a couple of years do?
The reason i'm asking is that i don't want him to be so old that he gets penalties, but i like the idea of a city born rogue being dumped on some jungle island, learning to survive through the years. In this time he became more wild and survivorish, hence the 1 level barbarian.

Convicts are usually sent to the Island when there is no more room in the jails. This usually happens every 5-10 years.
I'm gonna go with Warlock, if that's okay. Any houserules that I should know about?
Don't wear anything flamable. The halfling might attempt to set you on fire. It's nothing personal, it's what he does.
Ok, i made him one of the recent convicts, and gave him a level of fighter wich he got from military school, instead of the barbarian level.
Now he is finished and ready to suffer.
