Oh yes, I was meaning to ask you If I could use those. It's not critical, but would be cool. I'm assuming no.

James Martin wrote: It might not make sense to spend so much on something that only applies when you're out of your best defense. It does make sense if you are worried about being attacked at night. And since you can't wear heavy armor and not be fatigued in the morning, it makes a bit more sense.
That is true. Or you can get a ring of sustenance so you only sleep for 2 hours every night. Or you can enchant your armor with "Called". With this you can get it on in less than a round if I remember correctly. N/A to this campaign though.
2500 Gp and 2000 GP respectively.
It's OK. I'll just find something else.
If no one else posts by tomorrow, you'll all be playing. Tell me when the characters are ready for play, and when they all are, I'll make the discussion and game threads.
Jimpy's ready for review, sir!
Just need a day, I have to fire someone today....

Radavel wrote: Just need a day, I have to fire someone today.... That's okay, take a day or two.

Checking to see who is ready.
Hm... I wonder how many were at GenCon...
Well, I'm ready sir. Wish I could have gone to GenCon...
Present and accounted for.

Okay people, rollcall time. I'll be setting up the game and OOC threads later today.
In best Mouseketeer impression.
Barrak!
Jimpy!
[sounds of fireball going off, followed by screams]
Oooo! Pretty stars!
Wow, that reminded me of a show my neice watches, "Mickey Mouse Clubhouse." That were you got the idea Mordulin?
Anyway... who wants to go on vacation?

Showing my age here... Don't know if the Mikey Mouse Clubhouse is the same thing, but I remember watching reruns of the original Mikey Mouse Club with Annette Funicello. Mouseketeer roll call!
Hey, where is everyone one else? Jimpy and Barrak are all alone on Isla Sorna, don't you think you should join them?
Let's see if they notice a new name in the thread...
Um, may I join? Are there still openings? It shall take some time to generate a character to seventh level, work schedule not currently conducive.
That being the case, is/are there still openings?
If you need more players and there is still room, i would like to join as well.
Join! Join! We need more people to act as bait, I mean, players!
I'd like to join as well, if there's room for one more. Perhaps as some kind of arcane fighter, or something like that...
And here I was thinking this thread had fallen into the Archives!
Well, some people never showed up and this is a perfect time for new introduction, so... sure! Simple follow the rules stated above, and I'll introduce you ASAP.
Now, let's see who can survive on Isla Sorna!
nightflier wrote: I'd like to join as well, if there's room for one more. Perhaps as some kind of arcane fighter, or something like that... Battle Sorcerer and Eldritch Knight are options. Age is also something to look at. You may be young and one of the most recent 'convicts', or you may be an old timer who managed to survive(in a way that will be revealed in the game).
Yay :)
I think i will try a multiclass Rogue/swashbuckler(complete warrior).
Maybe he will be a long timer who has survived and i will take a single level of barbarian to represent the time he has spend on the island.
I will post a more detailed concept tomorrow.
*Cheers!* =)
Unfortunately a character won't be behind this avatar for quite a few days yet. :(
Sorry about that but Real Life must take prescedence. Will get a character ready as soon as possible!

Just remember the Ability Scores and Aging rules.

You will have all your gear and do not have to stay together as a group, though it is advised. You will eventually be able to get off the island(thus proving your innocence since only the innocent get off the island). 32 point buy, 7th level, 19,000 starting gold.
Here is what you can use. Run stuff by me first, and I'll look it over. No psions though, sorry.
Material from Complete Arcane/Divine/Warrior/Psionic is also usable.
Here is Marco Adante. A rogue/swashbuckler/barbarian. If you can approve it i will get working on his personality and background.
How often do the island get new convicts? If you are not one of the new comers, do you have to have been there for many years, or will a couple of years do?
The reason i'm asking is that i don't want him to be so old that he gets penalties, but i like the idea of a city born rogue being dumped on some jungle island, learning to survive through the years. In this time he became more wild and survivorish, hence the 1 level barbarian.
If the age thing is a problem i will just make him a rogue3/swashbuckler4. No problem, it's not that much of a difference.

Convicts are usually sent to the Island when there is no more room in the jails. This usually happens every 5-10 years.
I'm gonna go with Warlock, if that's okay. Any houserules that I should know about?
nightflier wrote: I'm gonna go with Warlock, if that's okay. Any houserules that I should know about? Don't wear anything flamable. The halfling might attempt to set you on fire. It's nothing personal, it's what he does.
Ok, i made him one of the recent convicts, and gave him a level of fighter wich he got from military school, instead of the barbarian level.
Now he is finished and ready to suffer.
I suppose Hellbread from Fiendish Codex 2 are not allowed?
