Dumb question ... you you select 1 from the pop up menu to vote for a product? I assume so but the voting page actually does not say!
I did. It says to select your first preference, etc. So I think selecting 1 as the first preference is the most logical. It isn't 100% clear, though.

You select your favorites, in order. So if you're torn between two products, you can vote for your top favorite as 1 and your second favorite as 2. There is a first and second place ENnie.

Just voted! Paizo and Kobold Quarterly all the way.
As far as voting more than once ... we can do that? From the same computer etc? So, if I'm bored, I can vote again and again and again ... ?
That sort of seems ... unfair. Not that I won't do it if it helps Paizo and KQ win ! :)
You cannot vote over and over. Each vote is linked to an IP address. If you try to vote again from your computer, it won't let you.

my english is not bad, but the explanation on the site was so strangly worded that I could not understand it (apparently I was not the only one)Now I correctly voted the Paizo products :-)

Thanks! I assumed that would be the case.
One of the earlier posters threw out that "vote early, vote often" and it made me wonder ...
It's also early and I've only had one cup of coffee ...

For most categories, you have five ballots (20 for Fan Award for Best Publisher and 10 for Product of the Year). If you wish to vote at all in a category, select your choice on any of the ballots. If you have multiple favorites in a category, order them appropriately (1 is highest, 5 is lowest) placing your first choice on the first ballot, your second choice on the second and so on. The computer discards duplicate ballots.
This paragraph is somewhat confusing. It seems to me that the word "ballot" is being used wrong. My understanding of how the voting process works is that each IP address can submit a single ballot. On that ballot are a number of categories to be voted on. Within each category are between 5 and 20 nominees. Stating that a voter has multiple ballots is misleading and might lead to people voting differently than they intend to because of misunderstandings.
