For those who were unable to attend PaizoCon, I present to you a video taken during "The Future of Paizo" seminar. This is the first part of what I believe to be six videos. Recorded with the kindly permission of Paizo Publishing.
Great! What other seminars/trivia contests did you happen to record?

Well, they will be broken down into 10 minute videos. Given I atteneded 5 such seminars of one hour. You can expect in the very least 30 videos. I am not even including the Short Fiction Writer Workshop that is 3 hours long!

Thanks for posting! Making it to PaizoCon was just not in my cards this year this little taste makes just a tad bit less jealous of all the folks who could make it. I'm interested in whatever PaizoCon videos you manage to post. Thanks again.

Hey Zuxius, if you want a location to upload full video to (instead of having to split it into 10 minute segments), check out the Internet Archive. From their "about us" section:
The Internet Archive is a 501(c)(3) non-profit that was founded to build an Internet library, with the purpose of offering permanent access for researchers, historians, and scholars to historical collections that exist in digital format. Founded in 1996 and located in the Presidio of San Francisco, the Archive has been receiving data donations from Alexa Internet and others. In late 1999, the organization started to grow to include more well-rounded collections. Now the Internet Archive includes texts, audio, moving images, and software as well as archived web pages in our collections.
In the Moving Images>Open Source Movies you can upload video (I've seen some of over an hour), you can embed the video into your site, users can download the video from IA and it is archived for future generations.
I've got many gigs of SD video that I'm still working on from the con that will go up here once it's complete. I think the only thing that's duplicated between the two of us is the Secrets of the Publishing Business. I have a feeling my tower will be a rendering box for a few days as I mess with After Effects and Premiere.

(In fact, Paizo just added a third intern--one to help Sarah. Don't think that's been announced anywhere yet, though...)
Ha! That was me. I know I wasn't the only one wondering, and I knew the answer anyway. It did spur an interesting line of discussion, though, about the maximum size of Paizo ever.

This first series of videos will be the worst. Admittedly, I did not have a ticket for a seat in this particular event. I left the seats open to those that deserved entrance. I felt lucky to be there.
All my other videos were from a chair with a lot steadier holding of the camera. A tripod would have been ideal, but I wasn't even sure if Paizo would go along with video of their events. Especially since they were announcing products that were way in adavance. I was told that they may ask for some video to be withheld. If that were the case, I would be hoping up and down turning off the camera. As it turned out, that didn't happen.

Will do this when I finish my run of the first subject. However, it will be just the straight video with no effects other than the intro, watermark and end credit.

If anybody has any questions that arise from watching these video clips, I am sure that Erik and myself would be more than happy to answer them here. Consider this an extended Q&A from that seminar! :)

You are both adored and loved. (You too Zux - glad you were there to represent!) If I can't get time to watch them today, will you still be available for Q&A in this thread on other days? In other words, how long will the Q&A offer be open? Thanks.

As far as I am concerned, this thread could go on for months or maybe even years. I am always available to answer questions, so feel free to take your time.
