You may be a Paizo nerd if…
A) Your favorite day of the week is currently Wednesday.
B) You think X-mas is in August.
C) You think Easter is in September.
(D) Your first game con is Paizocon '09.
E) The 1st of the month begins when you receive your subscription, but...
F) Christmas comes early when you can peek at your subscription ahead of time by looking at the pdf version
F) Your wife tells you… "You were talking in your sleep last night."
Oh, Yeah?
"Yup. You kept repeating, I think I'll play a bard. I think I'll play a bard…"
G) You get a wickedly gleeful look on your face at odd times at work, because you're thinking of the fun and pain you're going to be putting your players through soon :) (Usually brought on by reading your latest "fix" during a break!)
(H) You take pride in your homebrewed stat blocks getting used to off player characters in the campaigns of total strangers.
You knew this thread existed and where to find it.
You use the word 'smurf' in everyday conversation.
The lack of a poster map of Absalom caused you to feel blue for an inordinate amount of hours.
You check your post box at eleven at night, after only being gone an hour.

Oh, now that thing's pointing at ME!

You use individual's avatars as an ignore feature.

...you have to explain to your friends and family who Erik Mona is and why you are celebrating a day dedicated to him.
Whimsy Chris wrote: ...you have to explain to your friends and family who Erik Mona is and why you are celebrating a day dedicated to him. Your spouse refers to the people here as 'YOUR Paizo friends'.
...your only friends and confidants ARE Paizo (and Lilith's chat room) people...
CourtFool wrote: You use individual's avatars as an ignore feature. Ignoring? I was helping you. It never hurts to help.
Emperor7: My spouse prefers "Those people online."

Emperor7: My spouse prefers "Those people online." heh. mine uses that one too. usually attached to 'you spend more time with them'...(and no, it's not true that I do. Only that I can only handle watching so many DVDs of old TV shows. Once around was enough for that.)
EXACTLY. While she watches true murder shows or Oprah, I can talk to my Paizo peeps and be in the same room with her.

You think "# New messages" is the greatest invention since polyhedral dice.
You think the best part of tuesday is that it's Paizo chat night!

Your therapist knows the names of the Paizo staff as well as they do your coworkers' and family's.
yoda8myhead wrote: Your therapist knows the names of the Paizo staff as well as they do your coworkers' and family's. Are you trying to tell me something??
You are embarrassed to admit how much time you spend on Paizo to your therapist.
Your therapist is on the boards, and it's getting to where you're just paying to talk about Paizo with her/him, rather than talk about your "issues."
Instead of exclaiming TGIF, you say TGIW.
Pathfinder Maps Subscriber
You were sooooo excited when you received your (Pathfinder Charter Supersciber) tag...
And made sure you posted in the Superscriber thread.
You worked real hard to get to the top of Sebastian's Enemies list.
Yoe celebrated when you got to 1000 posts.
Then when you got to 2000 posts.
Then when you got to 3000 posts.
Sharoth wrote: Yoe celebrated when you got to 1000 posts. Does being kinda bummed that one of your aliases got to 1000 posts before you did count? :)

You have to decide between posting on the message board and watching your favorite show.
You are shocked when people turn out to not look like their avatar. Yes Derek, I mean you.
You post so much, you have worn out a keyboard.
You get bored and see how many times you can post on this thread before someone else does.
You check Paizo before you check Facebook.
You continue Paizo related discussions on Facebook.
I can't believe no one else has posted. It's been like 30 seconds.
By the way, I'm a Paizo geek, not a Paizo nerd. Geeks socialize.
David Fryer wrote: You have to decide between posting on the message board and watching your favorite show. Oh, this one is easy. That's what laptops are for. You post on the message board while watching your favorite show.
Emporer7 wrote: Your spouse refers to the people here as 'YOUR Paizo friends'. Mairkurion {tm} wrote: EXACTLY. You notice your wife reading over your shoulder. You continue typing.
