The truths continue to pile up here.

TD--heh, heh.

Has your wife seen the one about the Asian wife who kills her Anglo husband? Man, after that episode, I really started giving the wife a hard time whenever she brought up my online friends. "Why are you so worried? Afraid my online friends would have my murder investigated?" and so forth.

I don't have a therapist (but I'm thinking maybe I should). I get embarrassed any time the issue of how much MONEY I spend with Paizo comes up with anyone else I know. Does that count? I blush and say "More than I'd like to say."

You keep thinking "Well, I'm not as much of a nerd as all that..." to which your cthulhu mythos conscience of choice rolls its many eyes.

You pay working girls to play PF with you.

On a daily basis, you ask your postman: "I'm expecting a big envelope or pack, any news?"

When you start saying "You know, I read something funny..." and your fiancée completes the sentence "...on the Paizo messageboards, right?".

When you realize your players start laughing right before you quote for the thousand time at the game table Erik Mona or James Jacobs for something cool they wrote in an editorial.

When your fiancée says "No, we're NOT going to stop at Paizo headquarters when this summer we take a trip to the US. We are going to California!"

When you shout "PAIZOOOOOOO!" whenever you receive your subscription. Yes, I do. It's become quite a private joke for my gaming group. ^_^

All this talk of your spouse referring to 'your paizo friends'. What if your spouse has become one of your paizo friends?

Are there yet any cases in which two Paizo friends has become someone's spouse? If not, it's only a matter of time.

We both do play by posts, and there are a lot of times where we will be sitting on our computers right next to each other typing quietly even if we are in the same one and our characters are chatting, yeah.

That is awesome and hilarious!

My wife always asks me if I won when I play. I usually tell her yes.

See the wife and I almost fit that descriptor, but we were together before we found Paizo.

Being "talked to" by co-workers about your habits reading the boards at work. Followed a day later by them dropping the subject after you remind them about certain antics at Christmas parties in the past, and comparing the two issues.

Being able to read the boards at work: Great!

Having co-workers by the short hairs: Priceless!

Less cowboy, more preppie. More like your avatar. Maybe little slim shady mixed in.

If it makes you feel better, N.W.A. was playing in the background when my profile epic on Facebook was taken (which was after a Godsmack concert).

My style of dress is a bit more rockabilly than anything, I guess. My musical taste is all over the map, though.

One of your players makes some comment about some computer game being a better rpg than Pathfinder and you comment on his status to tell him to roll up a new character cause he's gonna need it.

That does make me feel better. I also tried to pick an avatar that looked like myself, but only because my wife told me I couldn't use any of the sexy female ones. ;p

I look just like my Avatar! Honest! ~nods~ Yep!

Legend of the Dragon, an old PS1 "rpg."

Edit: Th same guy hates rolling up characters, but somehow always manages to die in my campaigns.

I'll have you know, my invisible stalker avatar and I could be twins.

Now, if the boards would just stop putting text over said invisible stalker in the upper left-hand corner of my posts, I'd be good to go.

Ramen noodles...cruel and unusual punishment if I've ever seen it!

Do they really feed those to folks in prison? There is no nutritional value...

You write weekly store blogs and while you are writing them, you think about various people on the messageboards and how they might respond. You also love to drop little inside jokes gleaned from said messageboards into your blogs. You find yourself talking about people on the messageboards over dinner with Vic, and they feel like real people, even though you have met almost none of them.

Crap... GUILTY. Thanks Lisa, way to toss that one out there! Just when I thought I was not-guilty too. Though not with Vic, just our gaming group in general.

Even better... you start comparing people in your gaming group with people on the boards and vice-versa.
