Do you know a good underwater adventure?

3.5/d20/OGL

I intend to GM a somewhat different kind of adventure and for this I thought an underwater/amphibious one would be a good take. Do you know if there is a good adventure of this kind in Golarion? Or in another D&D setting? I would love to have a sunken city, underwater caverns, some sharks or kraken, some mermen, maybe sahaguins or Kuo-toas. Any ideas? Thanks for your help.

I really enjoyed running Tealpeck's Flood, from Dungeon #137. It has underwater swarms, water naga, interesting traps and puzzles. I am not really that familiar with the Pathfinder setting but the adventure is really neutral on setting and should be easy to fit in wherever.

I mention this one because I have recently ran it because I was feeling, like you I would imagine, that my game needed a little change of scene.

I am quite a nostalgia freak, but I did like U3, The Final Enemy for AD&D 1s ed: scouting mission in a Sahuagin fortress (and you have a unit of Lizardman soldiers as allies). Kinda funny if you take the time to adapt and perfect some roleplay situations. Quite deadly, too.

In the more 3.5 field, the second volume of Drow War by MGP has an underwater sidequest with sahuagin, some maelstrom device and other stuff. As a sidetrek, it is easily adaptable as long as your PCs are on a ship in open ocean at the time.

And a similar underwater foray may be found in the second volume of the Age of Mortals Dragonlance trilogy, Spectre of Sorrows. Charmed sea elves, some parasite creature, and PCs having to break free from an underwater prison after being taken by a ship-eating behemoth. Though intended for DL, I recall this chapter of the campaign being quite generic and not tied to the plot. Again, it was basically some quasi-accidental encounter which befell the PCs if they chose to sail to their destination instead of following the land route.

I may be biased, but you could try the "Shrine of Frenzy" from Nick Logue's Sinister Adventures - LINK

Thanks to all, if I can get it I will look at the stuff you recommended.

The first RPGSuperstar had a Shuagin villain and a his underwater home. Good stuff.

In Dungeon, I'm remember an adaptation of Shakespeare that was all underwater. Three sisters and their father the king.

I suggest Greg Vaughan's excellent adventure "Tammeraut's Fate" in Dungeon #106.

Seconded. Here are some more adventures w/ at least part of them underwater from Dungeon:

#85 "Lord of the Scarlet Tide" (9th level)
#105 "Racing the Snake" (5th level)
#105 "The Stink" (4th level)
#125 "Seekers of the Silver Forge" (15th level)
#138 "The Weavers" (10th level)

Scarab Sages

I love the U1-3 series, to me it was the most fun adventure in AD&D...

UK1 Eye of the Serpent was cool though also, with it's matrix. (sorry not an underwater adventure.)

I would like to also add that U1-3 is very very cool! Along with that I'd suggest Dungeon 144 which has the Savage Tide "Golgismorga" part as well as "Muster at Morach Tor".
