It's been a quiet FaWTL!!! day. Perhaps people are taking a break from the 749 posts from yesterday.

I do know CH is on vacation now, and he contributes. Everyone else seems kinda down lately, too, so that might have something to do with it.

Or maybe it's because I get on here and babble, and it's...driving...people...away...

That's cause we're smart enough to keep away from oozing sores.

I had the misfortune of listening to a CA lawyer bragging to some people at the bar in the hotel this week. Photographic memory, fluency in French (which he had to demonstrate after his audience told him they didn't understand - I listened, he was talking about cheese and ponies), knows everybody who is somebody...

Was that you? :)

If people ran from babbling, then I'd have no friends.

Hey folks, don't eat the cake they're giving away in the stormtrooper thread. It tastes like sour grapes.

Quiet day today I guess. It's been kind of a weird day. Not weird bad. Just weird. Anyways, kid only got in trouble a little at school today. So this is an improvement. And I am debating the wisdom of drinking a 5 hour energy. I know it will make me feel better, but it always gives me a stomachache later. Oh, yeah, and I'm procrastinating from calling my sister.

Cake leads to frosting;

Frosting leads to sugar;
Sugar leads to posting things we regret;
Regret leads to the dark side.

I think it's a good idea. Maybe it will be a clue to help all the new folk who are coming in to pick up on who the kahunas are around here. It seems like there's been a recent rash of them embarrassing themselves.

(Plus the obvious cool factor. Feel free to give them to your favorite posters as well... ^^ )

A little bit of everything! But don't drink something that will give you a tummy ache!

I know, I know. But I'm gonna need to soon. Maybe I can put it off until tomorrow. I'm sooo sleepy. Obviously getting a little iron deficient.

Finally called my sis. Managed to manage the conversation so we're at least meeting for lunch at a place I consider edible. Sigh. I don't hate my family. I even rather like them. From a distance. A long distance.

Maybe you will feel better after your edible lunch. At the very least, family is interesting...

Always. :)

Mostly I just have a hard time relating. There's a pretty big age gap between me and my sisters. Plus, as the family 'screw-up' I get a little tired of the whole condescension thing. Mostly from my brother-in-law. My sisters know better after years of learning that my revenge is swift and unexpected ;) Like I said, I like my family. From a distance. :)

But at least I finally get to meet my nephew. He's already a year old and this is the first time I actually get to see him. So far all I know is that he's a very photogenic baby. :)

Exactly! Well, you know, presuming he can stay an infant forever....so no, probably not. :)

Yeah, this doesn't work out for most of us, does it?

Sadly no, I intended the smiley to be 'winky', but when we get our check in late November, a small part is going to put the Paizo golem, and 'Paizo' under it, on my upper right arm. Yes, I am that crazy. :)

I'll post a pic of it on my FB page as soon as it is done.

Well, I spent the afternoon trying to teach Pathfinder to my boys, ages 11, 9, and 6. I was as old as the youngest when I started playing D&D, back in the red box days. The 11 year old seemed to grasp the concept of role playing to an extent, but the other two just wanted to go around killing things. Any ideas?

Kellen was the same when we started, it helped though that his mommy, wanted to roleplay, so he got to enjoy that part as well. Try running a cute likable DMPC with them.

Presuming I can pass the allergy test, I'm going to get the symbol of Shelyn on my ankle for my birthday which is in Februaury. *crosses fingers, hoping this actually works out*
