Uhm... Is this a bad time to point out that I got booted from the Army... so I don't know if I still count as a "soldier" per say. :(
What kind of discharge? If it was a general discharge, then in some cases you count as a soldier. If it was "other than honorable"--um, sorry I brought it up.

Long story, no big... hell I'd joke about it with ya if it wasn't here for the world to see. :)

Understood.
I'm kinda meh about the Stanley Cup. Once the Hurricanes decided to no-show their series against Pittsburgh, I lost interest.
The NBA finals on the other hand--I don't want Kobe Bryant to win a championship. Not that many of the other thugs who play on NBA teams are any better, but I can't stand Kobe.

I'll be straight up. I got a General under Honorable conditions. Simple story is I was drinking and there was this Royal Marine in the club. He kept hitting on this waitress that I was friends with, and I overheard him bragging to his friends that he was going to hit with her. When she got off shift, she headed out to her car and he followed. I followed him and beat the crap out of him in the parking lot. My C.O. felt that was justified, but frowned on the fact that I was drunk and armed at the time. It was during the Clinton draw down, so I found myself in rehab and then looking for new work in the civilian sector.

Eight years in the Air Force--but I've been separated from the service for 11 years now. I'm no longer close to fighting shape. :)
