Pathfinder movie: cast of characters

I´ve seen this done to Dragonlance in other forums and was wondering...

Do you have any suggestions as to which actors/actresses would be the best to represent the Pathfinder iconics in a movie?

Yes.

The second one was actually passable. And unlike the first one, it was D&D.

I also saw "The Stand". It was awful. So much worse than the book.

Does that mean I shouldn't watch Lord of the Rings, which was quite good?

Just because the D&D movie was messed up in every possible way doesn't mean the Pathfinder movie would be messed up, too.

I think the chances for that are a lot less. I think that Paizo would make sure that there are people present who know the game.

I wouldn't expect a big hollywood score, but this could be a great indie thing.

That reminds me: I'll have to check out the Midnight movie project. That looked promising.

I'm not completely sold on these actors for these characters. Personally, I'd rather find some more unknowns so that we aren't stuck with, say for example, Jessica Alba as the image for Sue Storm.

That said you did notice that Mark Sheppard (my pick for Lem) was Badger in Firefly and I might be convinced that Morena Baccarin or Jewel Staite could play Lini.

I think making PF Firefly-y could work out very well. I know the Reavers with their "rape you to death, eat your flesh and sow your skin to their clothes" attitude would fit right into Pathfinder's "we're not about holding a five-year-old's hand while saving Bambi's mom" attitude.

Dakota Fanning as Lini is good, but I'd use Anna Sophia Robb.

And Amiri...the only real choice is Gina Carano (Crush from American Gladiators, MMA queen of the ring). Milla is gorgeous,but way too skinny... I agree about Scarlett for Seoni, and Vin..Haha, you know he would jump at the chance to be in the film.

Not that this is relevant to anything, but I had a bizarre dream last night in which Nathan Fillion (Captain Reynolds from Firefly) played Ezren, Clinton Boomer played Lem, and Josh Frost was done completely in low-budget CGI. It appeared to be some sort of musical, a la "Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog."

I think I've been hanging out with Jacobs too much. He's normally the resident "weird dream" guy.
