Stop it.

You're embarrasing us.

Embarrasing will be when Allura learns how to telekinetically pinch your cheeks like that annoying aunt we all have - or better yet, grab you two by the ears when you do something you're not supposed to be doing. Good times :D

Reminds me of something my mom says... "After I die, I'll come back. Whenever you're doing something wrong you fell someone slap the back of your head. And you'll know I'm still watching."

Really hoping my wards can keep that from happening... ;)

Not a chance man. Nothing trumps Mom power ;P

Time for me to punch out. Everybody have a good weekend! :)

The brothers walk through the omniportal, weary looks on their faces.

"That was hard, I need some sleep."

"You wouldn't be so tired if you hadn't tried lifting that beam by yourself. That thing was bigger than you!"

"But the cat..."
Oroth begins pushing Aidan toward a spare room.

"I know lil' bro'. Good job, now go rest or something."
Oroth looks far happier than he has ever been, a weary smile on his face.

Two people asking how he is doing, word for word? Really hope it wasn't at the same time, he could get worried.

I love free-form RP!!!

LOL. Yeah, I thought about changing what she said, but I figured she couldn't actually hear what Kiba was saying. Hope we didn't freak him out too bad. :)

He only said the stone would allow him to talk to people and people talk to him. He said nothing about hearing anyone else. I really hope he isn't too worried, but... so many RPing applications... >:)

Actually, this will work out quite perfectly. As you'll soon see.

She walks through the door of his room as she says that last part.

As Allura enters the room, she beholds two unusual sights.

Tristan's gemstone is indeed melting in the palm of his hand. However, instead of flowing off his hand and running onto the floor, it pools calmly in his palm. It quickly integrates its fluidity mass through his hand and slowly disappears into his body. Tristan is unnervingly calm, but surprised as he turns and looks at Allura.

The same can not be said for her. She looks at Tristan and it dawns on her. Tristan, once seven of eight years of age, is now two to three years older. His once loose and dirty clothes tightly snuggle against his body.

Her mouth hangs open for a moment in astonishment before she shakes her head and pulls herself together.

"Well, it looks like it was a good thing you went to retrieve that gemstone after all... First things first, we need to get you some new clothes. You look to be about the same size as Aidan and Little Kiba, and if we were back at the bazaar I'd just let you borrow some of their clothes, but since we're not we'd better go ask Djuhah to get you something. And a bath. You definitely need a bath. You're not living on the streets anymore and you shouldn't look like you do," she added with a smile, playfully mussing his hair.

After all, if there was one thing she had learned in the last few weeks with the boys it was to expect the unexpected.

But you can't expect the unexpected, because once you expect it, it is no longer unexpected! :D

Anybody looking closely will notice that Allura's shadow is moving a bit slower than herself.

It has the same effect as casting magic missile at the darkness. However, she can tell that her spell technically worked.

Well, whatever is causing it isn't undead. Or just ducked into the ethereal plane for a bit. I think I'll have Djuhah take a look at it while he's getting some new clothes for you. Maybe he'll have a better idea what's going on.

A sense of foreboding settles on LJ. It is soon replaced by a jolt of pain, and the sense that JH has died.

As she weeps silently, she senses a heartbeat, tiny, fast, and strong.

After making sure that Arielle is okay she sings her daughter to sleep. Without any explanation LJ locks herself in her room and leaves strict instructions that no one but Arielle is allowed to disturb her.

"Lk might be up too, I might as well get this over with," Kiba thinks to himself. He leaves the Eyrie and heads for the place LJ prepared for him. He enters and begins to tell Lk the truth about who he is and what they really are. No surprise when he flies out as if hit violently. He crashes against an old tree and grabs his shoulder.

Lk walks out toward him, eyes filled with rage.

"You're the reason she's dead!? It's your fault!!" He runs at Kiba, fist pulled back and ready to hit him. Kiba manages to roll out of the way, and Lk's fist goes right through the tree.

K:"Don't make do anything I'll regret later, calm down!"
Lk:"NO! She's dead now, and it's because of you!
He lunges at Kiba, but Kiba uses his unijured arm to throw him away.
K:"I may have been the reason they found us, but I'm not the reason she's dead. She died protecting you!"
Lk stops, eyes wide and quickly filling with tears.
K:"Look what Canis said about me being the First Wolf... it's true. She knew, and she didn't care. She knew you'd be the same, and gave her life for you." Kiba gets up and walks over to his son, pulling him into a hug. He hands him a necklace with a small ivory wolf head on it. "This was hers, she said she wanted to give it to you one day." He slips it around Lk's neck, then hugs his crying son tighter.

Allura hears a rumbling from his tummy.

:::I guesss that means I'm hungry too?:::

+1...

Mornin' all.

Lynora - is the omniportal mysteriously not working for the Dalesman right now, or will he actually be able to get in? I figured I would check before going forward... :)

Let me tell you. I like Mondays. I work graveyard Sunday Night and leave for home and bed Monday morning. Then I have breakfast, which was french toast and sausages This morning. Then I get to log onto Paizo, then I sleep most of the day. Oh, it's my day off from work too. I tell you MOndays are great.

:::Long Pause of Silence:::

I think I'll shut up now.

You had my envious hatred at being able to eat french toast this morning... ;P

He had sausage and french toast!? Get him!

As a sidenote, I created an Ooze bloodline for sorcerers, shown here. If you look above it the posts, you'll see I also made 8 easy steps to making bloodline sorcerers. Under the guise of The Shadow of course.

Ah yes - I forgot about that. Hopefully she is! :)

She was indeed. And after a busy weekend it's nice to have a lazy day for a change. One of our friends got married this weekend and let's just say it was one of those occasions designed to completely destroy any faith in humanity you'd been foolish enough to cling to. The pregnant bride was drunk before the ceremony even started and it just gets better from there. *sigh*

Anyhoo, yes, Devlyn can get into the Eyrie. No he can't actually talk to LJ right now. Her door is blocked to everyone but Arielle.

Good times. I hope the food and drink were good at least :)

Allura and Tristan went searching for Djuhah and found him in the kitchen trying out some new recipes. He quickly ushered Tristan to one of the bathing chambers and provided some fresh clothes with the promise of as much food as the child could eat just as soon as he was clean and dressed.

Allura asked about what was wrong with her shadow. They tried true seeing which she was having trouble doing herself since it was her own shadow that was acting funny.

The food and drink at the bar down the street were anyhow. It's bad when even the best man has to duck out of the reception for an hour.

Bummer. Did you at least hork your present back off the gift table when you left? maybe a couple extra? ;)

Once Devlyn realizes LJ has sequestered herself, he starts stalking the caverns and corridors for Djuhah.

LOL. No. My husband was the best man. We actually got them a couple of hotel nights to use for their honeymoon. Gotta love frequent travel points. Especially when they let you give a nice gift without spending any money. :)

Got punted off of the boards for some reason. Let's try this again... ;)

Putting aside his current frustration when he notices what they are looking at, Devlyn quietly comes up to the other two, observing Allura's shadow as he does.

"What's up?"

The shadow seems to have gone back to normal now, the spell yielding no results.

Kiba and Lk seems to be getting along a bit better, occasionally sparring in the ring originally designed for Arielle and Jack Hammer.

Canis is looking for Arielle. He needs to talk to her about something.
