Post didn't come up right the first time for some reason.

...And I off to work. More on Tristan's tribulations tomorrow. I promise.

It would seem Tristan and Sky have something grim in common, both have lost family and been totured(a guess on Tristan's part).

Seeing that Tristan is out like a light, Lk shifts back and pulls him on to a chair. His eyes remain that of a wolf and are red streaked with gold. They've never been that way before...

"So that drow lady caused this? Guess we'll have to take her down. She might as well be wounded prey before the pack, all the good it'll do her to run."

Mornin' all - sorry I bugged out yesterday. I couldn't get back into the messagboards before I had to leave for the day.... :(

Muulsh smiles and escorts Ashara to the door

As soon as they return I shall send them into the bazaar to accumulate information ..

The only thing keeping Devlyn from flying out the door was the fact that everybody else was ready to do the same thing. Somebody had to be the voice of reason here, at least for the moment...

"Nobody's going after anybody until we have a better handle on what's going on here, and we get the boy someplace safe."

"You've all got five minutes to gear up, then we're going to the Eyrie. I need to talk to LJ."

Little Kiba wrote:

"Aw c'mon, don't 'cha trust me? I'm just a nice little snake, don't kids like snakes? I heard about that somewhere."
A wolfish grin spreading over his face, Lk thinks "You are a one-legged snake that wields a scythe, and you are supposed to be a 'nice snake'?

It's a sickle, actually, though I can understand LK making that mistake.

Sytt is so busy watching LK that he almost doesn't hear what is said.
"Wait, what? That drow lady hurt the kid? Huh?"
The snake looks bewildered. He starts swimming around in the fountain.

Allura grabs her gear, making sure she was ready for a fight should one happen, and making sure the boys did the same. She gently picks up Tristan and hands him to Devlyn.
"Okay, we're ready to go."

"Hey, can I come? I promise not to insult you guys again. Pleeease?"

Whoa dudes! Don't fight! All we need is peace and luv to make the world areally groovy place. Come on! Give peace a chance! Make luv, not war.

Allura hesitates. "Very well, Sytt. You may come. But you had better keep that promise."

"Do you want me to search for his parents?"

Lk fills his pack with rations, grabs a sling and pulls his axe from his belt.
"I'm ready."

"No Aidan. You and Oroth and LK are coming with us. We're going to get some divine intelligence on these guys before we go charging off after them. We weren't prepared for their defenses last time, and we're not going to make that mistake again."

Aidan Shade wrote:

"I think we need to know more about the situation before we do that. We don't know if they were involved voluntarily or not. Let's hold off for now."

"I'll go get Oroth then, he's upstairs trying to figure out what that shard does..."

A minute or two later, Aidan and Oroth arrive downstairs ready to go.

Devlyn pulls his cloak around Tristan to conceal his features and ward off the chill of the desert night. Once the brothers come down, he says:

"Alright, let's get to the omniportal. Stay sharp - we might have company on the way."

They lock up the winery and head for the omniportal, travelling to the Eyrie of Celestial Harmony.

"You may wish to start your search with the Ranger and the Dryad," she says politely. "Again, good day sir."

See ya at the Eyrie.

Devlyn, Allura and the boys reach the omniportal, and travel to the Eyrie of Celestial Harmony.

Candid and profitable with her latest customer, Mililani goes back to cleaning her shop. She later spends the day doing inventory and studying from her libram of magics.

A young swordswoman wanders the bazaar, looking into various shops and making the occasional purchase.

"Oh, thank you, that's very kind of you. I'm not so much lost as somewhat at loose ends at the moment. The adventuring group I was with broke up recently, and I still haven't found anything else. So if you know of anyone who's looking for a sword for hire, I'd sure appreciate it. Oh, goodness, I'm being rude. My name's Rowan, Rowan Bladesinger."

"Well met lass," he says cheerfully. I'm MacGardun. I own the finest breweries here in the Bazaar. If its adventuring work ye seek, then try any tavern in the Bazaar. But, I'd stay from the Ranger and the Dryad, it's a bit of the rough and tumble, not that you can't take care of yourself."

"Well, I do appreciate the advice, MacGurdun. I'll keep looking. At least I know where to go if I get thirsty," she adds with a smile.

Hmmm...it could be quite hilarious if Rowan ended up working for Devlyn and Allura in some capacity. Chaos begets chaos, and all that fun stuff ;P

The omniportal flashes to life as Devlyn, Allura (and Aidan & Oroth too, I'm assuming) return to the Bazaar of the Bizarre. They start heading for the more 'lively' side of town.

Gee, you'd think I was actually trying to slowly get in good with the good guys so I could spy on them again or something. ;)Check out my profile if you don't know what I mean by that...heh, heh. :)

Careful now - studies show that prolonged exposure to The Dalesman can cause paradigm shifts in morality, as well as spontaneous bouts of goodwill and an all-around 'good feeling' about life in general.*

*Studies conducted on random samples of prime and planar travellers exposed to semi-regular to regular contact with The Dalesman. Individual results may vary. Use as directed.

What about KC? He was often nearby Devlyn, and he's really evil now.

Well I did say that individual results may vary...though he's still listed as LN in Profile. Hmmm... :)

And I will be the first to admit that it's kind of hard to give a 'feel-good' impression to a draconic-blooded, undead marble Lord o' the Board. ;P

Time for me to head home. See everyone tomorrow :)

Yeah, they're both with the group.

But who in their right mind(or their left mind if they have one) would fill out a perscription for 2-? daily doses of cookie-man?

Whistling a tune, Corona begins to search the Bazaar for large amounts of adamantine, two large gems, warmaces used by giants of at least Huge size, and every bit of stray magic she can gather. All of which goes into a bag she is carrying...

Whoops. Bear in mind that he's a true lich now, so it would actually be impossible for him to be non evil.

Going to fix that error...

Better get a move then. Fafhrd and the Grey Mouser are heading towards the local mapmaker. Of course, the others will need to make their way to the Ranger and the Dryad thread. You may want to ask a bit about Ogiva before you enter his establishment. Anyone up for a visit to the Sanctum of the Sun? You may need to pick up a certian cleric in the near future.

Mornin' All :)

Well, Devlyn didn't set up shop here blindly - he's made it a point to get to know the 'other' face of the Bazaar (because there always is one). Besides, it's just good 'professional' courtesy to do so ;)

Devlyn will perform some Gather Information goodness to get the dirt on Ogiva, and share that with the rest of the gang (in case I'm offline when the action happens).

And time for me to get driving. G'night All :)

Ogiva is something of an oddity in the Bazaar. If it wasn't for the tavern and his unique business flair, he would be another streetpeddler or beggar. He's a known a spirit-speaker, pact mage and information broker. How he's able to gather so much information about the outer ands inner circles of the Bazaar is anyone's best guess. He's under-handed, full of surprises and values one commodity above all others. He values information. Be it known bribing him with money is more likely to yield disastrous results.

Happy Friday everybody :)

Morning everyone. I'll be on the board for a few hours.

Remembering what he (at the time) thought was just idle conversation with one of his hired spellcasting 'consultants', Devlyn steers the group to the Golden Sands Inn.

"Why don't you grab something to eat real quick - I need to talk to a friend about taking out a little insurance policy" as he gives Allura a quick kiss and goes upstairs.

He comes back down about an hour later, without his cowl on.

"Sorry about the wait everybody. Alright, let's go see if we can talk to this Ogiva guy. I have a feeling that the kind of knowledge he wants to barter in will not be our cup of tea, but we can try."
