Female Human (Near-Human) Soldier 3/Scout 3

Cool - we'll just keep checking back.

Once everyone is assembled, Julhari adds, "yes, I agree that we should return to the ship. Everything about this planet is against my natural likes in an environment. Moisture, swamps and I can say that after landing I am now glad to be wearing my helmet to avoid the disgusting smells."

Yeah no problem. Take care and get back when you can. Cheers!

Taking the code cylinder back to the ship, you are able to access what appears to be Yoda's journal. It lists several worlds where Jedi went into hiding, including Tatooine, Mandalore, Haruun Kal, and even Courascant.

"Hmmm ... any ideas on where to start?" Veeta asks.

"Coruscant could be the most dangerous - place is crawling with Imps. I'm not sure what the Imperial presence is like on Tatooine, but isn't that where Lu-, er, the Emperor was from? I've never heard of the other two."

Knowledge check 1d20 3=5. I assume the info on Tattooine and Coruscant is common knowledge.

"Why don't we consult a star map and simply go to the nearest one? It seems as good a place to start as any."

Female Human (Near-Human) Soldier 3/Scout 3

"That sounds like as good a plan as any. Now we've just got to blast our way through those TIE fighters and get off this ball of mud."

Once back on board the ship, Julhari removes her helmet and once again puts on her hat. She stows her rifles in her room/bunk and resumes leaning against the wall, her usual position for discussing plans for a hunt.
"I have been to Tatooine once before. It is a giant ball of sand and dust. It is not very hospitible."
She listens to Visas and then adds, "that sounds like a working plan. We might as well begin with the closest and work our way around the Outer Rim, ending our hunt with Coruscant as that will provide the most danger for interfering with the hunt."

Male Human Noble 3/Scout 5

"It looks like Tatooine or Mandalore are closest," Villian says. "take your pick."

Female Human (Near-Human) Soldier 3/Scout 3

"After this swamp, I could use some sun. Let's head for Tatooine."

Female Cathar Noble 1 Scout 1 Soldier 3

"Tatooine it is then."

Dropping out of hyperspace above Tatooine, you see minimal space traffic and no Imperial pressence. From orbit at least, things seem peaceful. The planet only contains scattered settlements and Yoda's journal is extremely vauge.

Villian managed to plot a course off Dagobah that will put the planet between you and the Imperials there.

Female Human (Near-Human) Soldier 3/Scout 3

"We should probably make for one of the smaller spaceports - a fugitive Jedi isn't going to want to set up house in the most populated sector, but might want to be close enough to keep up on galactic happenings," Veeta says, surveying the arid landscape displayed on the ship's screens.

"Visas, can you do any sort of, um, scanning, or anything? Otherwise I guess we just land and start asking around about mysterious witch-doctors or seers."

Female Cathar Noble 1 Scout 1 Soldier 3

"The main Spaceport here is Mos Eisely, although last ime we... I was here I landed over in Mos Espa. That was some time ago though, so things may have changed since then. There are other settlements, but I am unfamiliar with them."

Male Miraluka Jedi 5

I'm not sure if I can get anything at this range or not, but here's my attempt: Use the Force - 14 + 10 = 24.

Visas remains silent, his head inclined in thought as he searches the Force for a sign.

The Force gives no indication where you should go, although there are several areas where the Force is strong on the planet.

Male Human Noble 3/Scout 5

"Let's set down right there," Villian says. He points at a small unnamed settlement near the edge of the Dune Sea. "That looks like the kind of place I would go to hide."

Female Human (Near-Human) Soldier 3/Scout 3

"We ought to get our story straight before we start questioning people - something innocent sounding that won't get their hackles up," Veeta says as the ship begins to descend toward the shimmering heat of the planet's surface.

"Maybe say we're looking for an old teacher, or a distant relation who's recently inherited some wealth? I don't know," Veeta shrugs. "This kind of stuff isn't my specialty - I generally come in after the target's been identified."

I hate to do this, and I apologize, but I'm going to have to shut this game down. I got a new job at work which takes up a lot more time then my old one. I dropped the pbp games I was playing in thinking that would free me up, but it hasn't. So, since this is the least progressed of the pbp I'm running, I'm going to have to close up shop. Again I apologize and hope there is no hard feelings. I enjoyed gaming with all of you. Good luck in the future and good gaming.

No hard feelings David - it was fun while it lasted! (Except maybe that string of three 1s in a row ... razzle frazzle dangum ...)
