Catriana answers: "We are not unaccustomed of your beliefs and ways, Fey. As travellers there is no reason why we should take an oath of fealty to your kind. My offer for you is to help us in order to get rid of us as quickly and peacefully as possible."
After a few seconds of silence, she adds: "Fighting would be unwise and unprofitable for both our sides."
Eglantine Prakseda
Eglantine's elven is rusty, but she manages to follow the gist of the conversation.
Waiting for a pause she struggles to find words that may help.
Elven
"We are seeking the River King. It may be that we will need to make an oath to him and it would surely be dishonourable to promise to swear fealty to you without knowing the conditions under which the River King will accept our service. The fey are known for their understanding of these delicate issues. I am but a clumsy human and your poor shadow in skill and intellect."
Diplomacy (1d20 4=19). Best she can do. She's only got a +4

Just to help out Pat and maybe get our tactics established for this fight, here is the initiative order without the enemies of course.
Cyrus - 26
Yomi - 25
Eglantine - 20
Elias - 16 (+5)
Bren - 16 (+4)
Catriana - 16 (+3)
I'm going to target the female spellcaster and attempt to hinder her ability to hit us.

Map posted. Dark green are large trees -- provide concealment and cover and are impassable. Bright green are low growth or younger trees -- difficult terrain and provide concealment, but no cover. Everywhere under the forest's edge (rows 2-18) is dim light -- to creatures with normal vision, everything has concealment. Brown is a fallen log, difficult terrain, athletics/acrobatics check to get over. Most of you can't make out the locations of most of the fey, just shadows.
f1-f6 are fey, b1 and b2 are rather large boars.
Yomi, or Perception DC24:
Please place yourselves somewhere in rows 19-21.
And we're back!
Yomi
Cyrus and Yomi can also act
For Pat
Yomi starts from I19 then moves to N14.
Lance of Faith vs. Ref of F6 1d20+8=20, Radiant Damage 1d8+5=13
+2 power bonus to attack to next attack roll vs. F6 by next person the initiative.
"Oh goddess, strike down my enemies!"

"Oh goddess, strike down my enemies!"
Where are you? You start somewhere in the bottom three rows, and LoF only has a range of 5. You also need to specify which ally gets the bonus (and it can't be you).

Ah, ok. For future reference, please don't expect me to read above my own posts! :-) Elias, I moved you and Scathach one to the side to accommodate Yomi's starting position. Given that we're just getting restarted, I'll give Cyrus a little more time before moving for him.
Cyrus the Mentalist
Cyrus will start in J21, but move quickly to H16 and cast Illusory Ambush on F3, assuming this is the female fey behind the log.
1d20+7=11 vs F3 Will, 1d6+7=10 psychic damage and the target takes -2 to attack rolls until the end of my next turn
Cyrus steps up and casts a mass of swirling spectral energy at what looks to be the most powerful adversary. The spell explodes upon the log in front of the enemy.

Cyrus, you moved to give f3 cover, but would have missed anyway. Dark green are cover and concealment. Remember, everyone, that unless you have lowlight vision, they all have concealment.
Yomi's arc of light spears the nearest fey, who screams and falls. The others dart into action, vanishing into the darkness and reappearing in new positions as they send bolts of coruscating purple energy at their targets. Yomi is hit twice and Elias once, and now they both see nothing but purple light.
Yomi -12hp; Elias -6hp; both blind through the fey's next turn.
Why yes, they do turn invisible when they move.
Eglantine.
Eglantine Prakseda
Darting out from behind her tree move to C18 as part of deft strike, Eglantine narrows her eyes and hurls her dagger deftly at F4.
Taking a swift look around, she returns to her tree again, looking for further opportunities and hoping Elias and Yomi are alert. Back to E20.
Deft Strike (AC) v F4. Allows move 2 before attack. (1d20 8=25, 1d4 4=5)

Eglantine drops a second fey with a dagger to the heart.
f3 calls out an incantation and thick, writhing shadows surround her. The whole mass of shadows then moves toward Yomi.
The aura (the border) counts as difficult terrain and looks like a bad idea to enter. Creatures within it have concealment, even against low-light.
Elias (blind), Bren, Catriana
Catriana Windrunner
Catriana starts chanting loudly when a bolt of mystical energy suddenly appears next to Elias and flies toward the closest boar, hitting it.
Misdirected Mark vs b2 (reflex). If the attack hits, it's marked by Elias. Move to J18
Misdirected Mark vs b2 (reflex); Damage (1d20+7=21, 1d8+5=12)

Elias and Scathach engage one of the fey hunters, while Bren approaches the shadow and Catriana wounds one of the boars.
The boars rush into combat, one getting himself clawed by Scathach (for 5hp) before goring Elias -9hp, while the other finds Cyrus behind his tree -12hp.
Cyrus, Yomi

EDITED - please note
On her turn...
ACK. Cyrus hasn't moved yet. I'll hold off until he does, lovely as the rolls are. If he isn't there to flank, it's all pointless.
Taking a deep breath, Eglantine sees that Cryus is in real trouble. Overcoming her loathing for close melee, and trying hard to pretend the boars are smaller than they are, she moves next to it.
"Big pork chop," she mutters, looking for a vital spot and finding it. Despite the smell and size of the huge beast, she feels a little stonger than she did ...
Out of the corner of her eye, she sizes up the next tree.
Move to E15 as long as that is still a flank.
Trickster's Blade (1d20 10=28, 2d4 4=11, 2d8=11) 22hp damage to boar. AC is at 21 to end of her next turn
DM
Can you give me a DC to climb a tree please? Egger's next move is going to be upwards.
