is there going to be a beta printer friendly version??

There may not be since they are also selling the beta softcover (which will probably still be cheaper for most people than even a printer friendly pdf printed), but I would love a printer friendly version of the web enhancement, considering it's nearly as long as the first alpha.

The brown background takes a lot of ink..

and the strange "flattening" which happens increases the spooling time by a whole lot.

But I'm VERY glad they straightened out the page numbering!!

WOOT -- that is WONDERFUL news! Printing the Alpha was a bear since the page numbers were all askew. Thankfully I've got a hardcopy of the beta on it's way (so says the email I got this morning)... so I'm not sure I'll have to print out the pdf. The Web Enhancement was a nice surprise when I downloaded the file this morning.

"Draft Mode" printing FTW -- make sure you only have it print "black&white" as well since that will save you a ton of colored ink. Even with the Alpha, the only pages which I printed out in high quality, full color were the cover and a few targeted art pages.
