Sorcerer's Draconic Bloodline: Wings ability query

Races & Classes

The entry for the Draconic BloodLine is:

Wings (Su): At 15th level, leathery dragon wings grow
from your back as a standard action, giving you a fly speed
of 60 feet with average maneuverability. You can dismiss
the wings as a free action.

How long do these wings lasts? Since it is not specified, are we to assume they are permanent until dismissed?

Correct.

On a side note seems like a long wait for a fly speed that you'd be able to get through spells at a much earlier level

But you can't cast permanency on fly... it also looks cooler.

Heh If I wanna look cool I'll be a druid and grow wings at 5th level ;)

although in all seriousness couldn't the sorc get wings much earlier like 10th without it being overpowered ?

Celestial bloodline gets feathered wings for 1 minute per caster level at 9th level. I think it's the unlimited duration that makes it a high level ability, not the flight. Air Elemental and Infernal bloodlines also grant flight at will at 15th level.

But shouldn't it be (ex) rather than (su) then? Or are the wings meant to go poof in an antimagic shell?

Grumble, Grumble... I still think the Celestials should be brought into line with the other "Flight" Bloodlines and gain the Wings permanently at 15th level. You get penalized because you're good! The evil and neutralish ones get all the benefits. =(
