As to loot distribution, is there anything anyone wants out of that pile?
Z would of course be interested in the Ring, especially as he will be flying (at least a little bit) in not too long hopefully. But if anyone else is interested in it we can work out a fair soloution. The hand crossbow if kinda nifty but he doesn-t really need it and would be happy to sell it for the cash..probably ;-)

I need to look at the Beta again to see if I can even use a chain shirt without messing up my speed. I really like being fast. :) If it doesn't, I might ask for one of them since they came off the guards. I can't see Ayedah wanting to keep anything that came off of Devargo himself.
It's going to be good to get some money though! Ayedah keeps giving her money away! Those ingots went quick!

It's really up to TN about the disposal of the poison and stuff now.
I have no real preference for any of the loot. I'd be just as happy to sell the stuff and use the gold to make a purchase or two.
The feather fall ring is probably too good an item to let pass though, so im happy for any one to take that one.
As for telling Kroft, it's probably better that she finds out from us, becasue you can guarantee that she'll get the info sooner or later. We weren't exactly secretive in leaving the ship.
Also, if Nayr is with us when we meet her, Gern will happily introduce him as a friend and trusted companion.
Also if any of us need to purchaase specific healing/tratment for lingering poison effects, Gern is happy to chip in to covere costs. Zalen copped a bit of a flogging from those poisons so he might need something to help him out.

Oh, and just so you guys know what I'm doing in the IC; character wise, I'm just following the path it seems to me would make the most sense for Zalen to proceed along. But I'm not hiding anything from you guys. He's going to speak to Kroft about his concerns for her health but he figured he might have a better chance of getting an honest answer out of her alone. He'll also, if no one minds, inform her about Devargo without going into too many details at all. I'm sure you guys will be able to read the spoiler later as Z plans to tell his friends all about what happened when he's with them again, but I didn't want to presume upon Terra so I spoilered it.
If anyone has any objections to this line of reasoning or has anything else to add please let me know!
Also, just waiting for Krek & Alandra to stake any claims on the loot before I divvy it up. And Terra, I'm guessing you'll let us know about costs for cures from poison and such in the Breakaway thread when it's ready?

I figured you'd sleep off the poison damage etc. It is not life-threatening, and any damage you incurred can be taken care off by natural healing.
As for the disposing of the stuff, the cloa^H^H^H^Hharbor comes to mind - this is where Korvosans put most "substances that should stay hidden"

And wish you well over your flu Wrath. Try Raw Garlic! Yes really! It's one of the best Natural Antibiotics on the planet. Take a clove, chop it up, and swallow it with water. Do that 2-3 times a day in you'll be better in a couple days.

Krek didn't have much preference in the loot except for the drug vials he pocketed.
In the future, it's safe to assume unless I make some note (including those in his thoughts) in the RP thread, Krek won't care much about items unless they are metallic weapons or armor.

Hey guys and gals, there's something that I've been somewhat concerned about for some time now and that's the concern that I may be 'hogging the limelight'. I realize that as leader and 'face' Zalen is expected to do most of the talking so in RP situations the burden will usually fall more on him, but I worry a bit that I may sometimes let myself get carried away.

The "tribute" for the first week is a measly 10 gold for each of Krek, Zalen, Ayedah Alandra and Gern (which means that the establishment earned a full 1000 gp that week), with the share rising to 12 gp on the second week. Halvarra however claimed she was still consolidating her position, and expects higher profits in the future.
Ayedah will throw her share of the tribute into the street with a curse. ;)
Khaladon, don't worry. It's kind of expected in a lot of these situations since you're the "face".
Gern, Krek, and Ayedah handling delicate negotiations might not work out so well. :) Nayr and Alandra would probably have much better luck.
Zalen raises his eyebrow at Ayedah's throwing so much money on the street. He picks it up saying, I shall make sure that this money reaches those in need Ayedah (and he Will too). From then on, unless Ayedah tells him differently, Zalen will collect her share himself and donate it to some charity (any suggestions Val? Maybe recovering Drug addicts?)

I don't know if you can find charities just for recovering drug addicts in Korvosa, but if any good temples help in that area, she would probably name them.
She doesn't quite get what offerings are seen as appropriate to the gods yet though. I imagine she would try to bring a deer or a big fish she had hunted as an offering...
I'm not sure how well that would go with the temples. :)
Gern tends to use a dagger for delicate matters, but only when he thinks his axe is too crude for a situation, or if there are many breakables about.
Ayedah's more blunt when it comes to those matters.

I guess it's my turn to be nervous about hogging the spotlight over in the breakaway thread. I'm sorry if I'm taking up too much time guys. And I'm really sorry if Ayedah seemed really "beggy" there. I couldn't think of anything she could do but start to despair a little before the Field Marshal reassured her. That should keep her going for a long time though and keep her from being depressing to be around. :)
If I ever need to dial her back a bit guys, please let me know!

I wouldn't worry about dialling your characters back. I think its all about what you want to put in. There are times when the situation just cres for me to write alot for Gern, and then there are times when the gruff little dwarf is probably just going to sit back and wait. I'm fairly sure it's the same for everyones character in this game.
Personally I enjy reading the charcterisation of other players. Keep up the good work Val.

I hate cluttering up my own IC thread, so here's my take on things: You get a move and a standard action each turn - but due to the strange nature of the chase, a turn is not strictly a turn (you do move more then 30', for example). Its more like a convenient shorthand for this scene only. This will happen a few times in this AP ;)
As a guess, I'd say if you do nothing but move, you can take a +5 circumstance bonus on either of your checks, if you do any.
I don't know if its her own wand, but like you, I am not quite sure what else it would be.
Should we take a vote then on where we are entering the jungle? Bo-dan, because of what she sensed from the Totems, (and explained to everyone) will very strongly state that they should not enter near them.
Her vote is obviously Not to. If the majority of the party votes another way, she will still try and convince Paera at least to enter at another part of the jungle and tell the party that if they will wait, she and Paera (if she's coming with) will catch up to them.
If Paera decides to enter near the totems, Bo-dan will not be happy about but she will not leave her beloved and will enter with the rest of the party. (Will Save (1d20+6=23) if necessary)
