Oh, terrible, mind-warping horror, I, Mairkurion, do offer you this stinky half-naked dwarf for your repast.

The stinkiness must have driven them off, resulting in another Day of No Blog. Boo...

I say Hyrum needs a flun- ur, intern to do his junk for him. He shouldn't be bothered with mechanics and whatnot. Back in the old days, if a monkey had laser eyes, he didn't have to put up with that kind of crap.
Yeah but it's really hard to find monkey interns, and the last human intern really messed up the special steering, and pedals ;)

Half-naked? Har har, it seems Mairkurion's eyesight is even worse than I thought! No matter, I do not fear overgrown octopi or fish! Am I not a Favored Son of Majestic Asmodeus? Hellfire dances behind my eyes, and whole legions of devils bow before my Infernal Might -- these "mind-warping horrors" should be afraid of *me*, and not vice versa!
And I definitely do not *stink*... my beard may give out a slight smell of brimstone, but that's hardly "stinking" by anyone's standards!

My shop happens to be a coffee shop in addition to the games. That means I have to open at 6:00 AM. After I'm done opening I tend to grab a scone and a cup of coffee, then sit down and read bloggy goodness. Today...not so much.
Why make my early mornings so much worse?
We've delayed the blog today so we can be in the office once it goes live. Hopefully you'll understand why once you read it. :)
Hyrum.

You might want to get used to it being late. This is copied from yesterdays blog thread.
We wanted to be here in case there were a lot of questions about anything related to the post and didn't want people to sit around wondering. We're talking about moving the time when the blog goes live to 10am PST which is when most of us try to get here.

Damn it. Now you've totally ruined leafy's coffee imbibing schedule.

Not a fan of this at all.
Where did we put all the tar and feathers Mairkurion {tm}? I could swear it was right next to the torches ...
In the barrels marked "Extra-Flammable Tar."
Paizo blog is like my reward for getting up in the morning.

Taking today as an example, if we'd had it go live at midnight, no one from Paizo would have been around to clarify that we'd ship internationally for free as well as domestically. And that could have meant that someone who wanted to donate a ton of money to Japan might have thought the auction wasn't for them, and never checked back to see the clarification after we all got into the office ten hours later.

Mark,
Are you trying to use logic on Mairkurion {tm}? ;)

I see the logic in this, but would not half the waking world read a blog posted at 10 AM PST about half a day too late?
I mean that's 7 PM London time, or even later as one travels further east.

The auctions start when they start, and run for a week. No matter what time the blogs go live, someone somewhere is going to be reading them in the middle of the night or the next morning. Luckily, we at Paizo don't need to be operating on Prague time to answer questions that might arrise.

Using that very same logic ... why then push the blog to 10 AM PST?
Again I see the pros for this, I also see how there are cons for this.
Not the least being the upsetting of Mairkurion {tm}.
You could also leave (lock up) Wes at the offices now and then.
