He shifted the burden to Chris Self, get him!

RPG Superstar 2009 Top 8

Darn! Before I could blame you, look at the sky, and cry out, "FROOOOOST!"

What now? Should I instead yell, "SEEEEELF?"

It doesn't feel the same. It feels ... less dramatic.

SQUEE! :D

I can smell Lilith baking a fresh batch of cookies right now.

So does that mean we are on a time frame of weeks, days, or hours? Mrs. Gray is gonna kill me if I don't get some stuff done instead of checking the boards every few minutes.

Plus, people will think you're cursing yourself and not some guy named Self. That said, "SEEEEELF!" is what I utter when I do something painful to my body, like stub my toe. There's no one else to blame.

Still nothing? I guess I can go mow the lawn and start the grill for some beer can chicken. That'll burn a few hours.

If the ball's out of your court, why are you still posting like this? Put Chris before so that he may see our impatience! And if he says we can eat cake, I'm getting my Tall Knife.

Is this a Cake-or-Death kind of situation? If so, I'm definitely taking the Cake. :D

No no no.

If x="Cake" then "Death" else "Product Announcements"

Another vote for cake

Is said cake chocolate? I'm in.

NO! The cake was metaphorical. It was a Marie Antoinette reference which I tied in to the Golarion cognate of the French Revolution, which is Galt.

Jeez! What's a guy got to do around here to get some product announcements?

Thank you for the update Frooooost!

Well, I didn't burn the chicken (though, I'll admit I did last time).

I guess I'll go back to relaxing in the back yard. Though now I'm in the mood for some cake.

Apparently not today either.

My fortune-cookie tells me we're about to step ahead of the competition in a new way. I look forward to the announcement.

Cristopher...oh, Christopher....it is your turn. Speak up man, use your man voice!

The Exchange

These announcements really scare me. I am sure it is some new "gotta-have-thneed-right-now or your life is over" 100 dollar-a-month subscription which will totally blow my mind with whistles and bells collectibility that has me jumping in the streets wearing a straight jacket singing "Hallejuh-Paizo-all-day!"

I would gladly pay more to see Paizo upgrade their offices, get excellent dental plans, triple their staff with ex-3.5 experts and politically incorrect WotC personnel (that were let go), and! and see to it that they one day acquire the D&D license. That I will put money towards anyday. The Erik Mona Christmas Bonus will have to wait, however.

Cheers,
Zuxius

It's should be very effective.

I'm back from work. No news yet? Well, I guess I could go grill something else. Maybe some burgers. . . . .

Liberty's Edge

I know one of them is going to be the premise/announcement of AP4. Which I'd really really like to hear before gencon as it may affect what I make for Pathfinder Society Season 0.

AP4 is "Legacy of Fire" and takes place in Katapesh.

Coridan wrote:

AP4 is called "Legacy of Fire" and will have an Arabian Nights feel to it. It's going to take place is Katapesh and similar areas.

I gotta get started on a new character then =p

Shame this hasn't been posted officially on the site yet where more people could get the info. The transcript thread is a bit hard to navigate.

It works particularly well when you use the Lenny Leonard voice.

Arabian Nights did you say? Scantily clad genies in transparent bottles did you say? Scimitars instead of longswords did you say?

*starts humming Ode to Joy*

I object to the very title of this thread. I have nothing whatsoever to do with product announcements!

That's because you procrastinated getting them out so long that they took the job away from you. Put some fire under your successor and get those announcements out. You owe it to us from before it was no longer your job.

Weird. I just bought a three volume set of Arabian Nights and have read everything they wrote on Al Qadim in preparation for running my next campaign.

I gotta go break out the tin foil hat. That's just odd.

Ahhh! I'm being defamed without warning in a thread that I haven't read!

What's this now? New products? Announcements? My...perhaps I should find out what this is all about.

(Maybe I should have Josh post the product codes. That would tell me exactly what they are, tell those who are really paying attention what category they're in, and just be more teasing to most.)

Yes...he shifted the burden. Get HIM! (That is, not me. Remember, I'm not the tease.)

(:

In all seriousness, we're all loyal fans who love what Paizo puts out, and being strung along like this is sort of annoying. How hard is it to just give everyone a date on which the announcement will be made? I'm not saying that you should make the announcement before you're ready, or before it makes business sense to do so, but providing more than just "soon" seems like a reasonable thing for us to ask for. That is all.

I seriously have no idea when Chris plans to make the announcement.

I'd love to spill the beans. I'd love to spill a date. I can do neither.

I can say it'll be in July. I think.

id settle for a week to wait for...especially if the week was this one :)

EDIT: i just realised that soon has to be <6 months or else our subs would start shipping mystery items

Hmmm. Wasn't there a shift blame spell in Knights of the Dinner Table which Brian used to good(?) effect at least once? :-?
