How many are there and where? "Ashes at Dawn" and "Rule of Fear" state that the Havenguard Lunatic Asylum serves as a Lodge. "Seekers of Seekers" says it is the Vodavani Lodge. "Ashes/Rule" makes no mention of Vodavani. "Seekers" makes no mention of Havenguard. Both are supposedly in Caliphas. So.... which is it? Is there a lodge in Lepistadt? With the University there, one would think the society would have some sort of presence there as well.

I would like to think that I fall into the second category and as such, will quietly exit stage-left before I make any more of a fool of myself.

meatrace wrote: sykoholic, you sound like a strong atheist. You assert that there is no god. I, on the other hand, am more of an agnostic atheist. Actually, I consider myself an agnostic atheist for much the same reasons you consider yourself one. I "believe" there is no "god" but I don't really know for certain. I'm convinced there isn't but being convinced and actually knowing are two different things. When people who do believe in god ask me why I don't believe, I just tell them that I simply don't find it to be believable. meatrace wrote: There are two sides. The disbelief in the existence of gods, and the BELIEF that there are none. You're going to have to clarify/elaborate on that one. I'm not understanding the difference between the two.

Atheism is not the lack of a belief. Rather, it is the belief of a lack. As an antheist, I BELIEVE there is no higher power. I also BELIEVE there is no afterlife. I am as devout in my beliefs as anyone else is in theirs and my beliefs can be offended, just like anybody else's. As far as I know, there is no official or recognized "Church of Atheism". Atheist are simply seperate individuals who share a common belief. There is no organization or institution that regulates/dictates what or how we believe. So, at least in that sense, atheism is not a religion. It is a belief system however, and one could say it is spirituality rather than religion since it is personal/individual-based rather than communal/organization-based. Just my take on the original subject.

40 figure capacity, cut out size: 1" x 1", 1 layer
The boxes themselves are hard, sturdy, plastic. Each layer of foam consists of three pieces: a thin top pad/cover, the divider, and the bottom. Between the two layers is a piece of heavy cardstock with a loop of ribbon attached to each end. The loop allows for easily lifting the upper layer out of the box to access the lower layer. Since the 40 figure case is only one layer, it obviously won't have this. I own about 15 of these things and absolutely swear by them. My only complaint is that the divider and bottom of each layer don't come attached to each other. When removing a figure, if some pointy bit catches on the foam, you can pull the whole divider out of place. Nothing a couple spots of white glue can't remedy though.

The whole state of Washington (yes... believe it or not, there really IS more in Washington State than just Seattle) got hit. I live in the central portion and it looks just like Cosmo's pic... minus the trees, of course. What I would really like to know is if snow can make it over the mountains, why can't rain make it over here as well?

There's also "Into the Haunted Forest" that would work fairly well for younger kids. It's based in the Arthell Forest which is also in Darkmoon Vale so you could work it into a Falcon's Hollow campaign or even use it as a starting point for one. Best of all, it's only $5.00.

This might seem like something of a no-brainer but there needs to be some discussion about the government. In such a "wretched hive of scum and villany", who actually rules? Does anyone rule? Is the ruling power a single individual or a council of some sort, possibly made up of the major crimelords and cult leaders? Is their rule absolute? Are they a puppet of some faction or organization? Who, if anyone, is in control in Kaer Maga?

Not necessarily. A publisher can support 4E and other systems but not with the same brand/product line. So while the "Dungeon Crawl Classics" line may be lost to 4E, Goodman is still free to create a new line/brand and support Pathfinder through it. Whether or not they actually do this remains to be seen. *edit*

Uhm... maybe I'm not understanding things but the question of "who was killed" is throwing me off. If they don't know who was killed, how do they know anybody actually was killed? Or do you mean the deceased is a complete stranger that nobody knows or can identify?

To my understanding, Clark doesn't want to do more 3.5 products due to lack of interest in 3.5 from distributors and retailers. Paizo, however, doesn't seem to have such problems with their 3.5 products. I was just thinking that if these 3.5 adventures were released as part of an established and recognized Paizo brand (ie: GameMastery) then distributors and retailers WOULD be interested in them and thus Clark would be more inclined to publish them rather than sitting on them while playing the "waiting game" with the GSL.

When 4E was announced, the market for 3.5 products died almost immediately as distributors and retailers no longer wanted products for an "obsolete" game. At that time, Necromancer has three adventures ready for printing but had to cancel them. These adventures are now collecting dust as Necromancer waits for an acceptable revision of the GSL. Would it be possible for Paizo to release these "lost" Necromancer adventures through the "Game Mastery" line and turn the line into something similar to what White Wolf did with "Sword & Sorcery Studios"? The Game Mastery line presently consists of "neutral" accessories. Paizo could publish Necromancer's 3.5 adventures under a "re-created" Game Mastery Adventures line. This way, Necromancer could continue to produce 3.x material but under Paizo's label which distributors and retailers would recognize and want. Since these adventures would be Game Mastery products rather than Pathfinder products, a license wouldn't be needed (beyond the OGL) and the adventures wouldn't be linked to the Pathfinder setting and thus remain setting neutral, like all of NG's adventures. Currently, GameMastery products seem to be few and far between. I don't see why Paizo couldn't slip one of Necromancer's 3.5 adventure into the production/release schedule every once in a while. Paizo already intends to do Necromancer Games' 4E products which, in accordance with the GSL, will require an entirely new product line to be created. Why not just use an existing product line to make new Necromancer 3E products as well? Of course, its probably not that simple and there's probably more involved than I'm aware of but it's just sorta my own personal theory/thought/idea of how Necromancer could get out of "idle" and back into action.

There are no Bombardier, Boring, Rhinoceros, Stag, or Water Beetles. There is a Fire Beetle but its nothing like the "classic" Fire Beetle. I don't recall seeing a Giant Centipede either which I find odd considering the card for the Dungeon of Dread mini had 4E stats Also missing are: Axe Beak
