Sorry I missed this post! Well the job update is that I got a new job, with the same company at a different location! It pays more and I will still be able to be a manager. Its a little longer drive but it will be better for me. My old job is getting worse from what I hear with hours being cut back big time and more layoffs might come this week, so I got out of there just in time. My first day will be tomorrow! My new boss likes to help move people up which was a big thing for me, so advancement will quickly be in my future! Funny how things workout sometimes!!!!

I don't hold high hopes for advancing though... it seems my Villain is too bland and cliche for everyone's tastes. No hard feelings, I was a little afraid of that going in.
Oh well, it was a blast to even make it into the Top 32.

I can't get Howl of the Carrion King or any of this month's PF stuff, because my dad's bank account says we have no money. We are owed about 3 months of pay from the Swedish government, but they just did a merger last year and are still sorting out the invoices. The avatar I believe comes from the Pathfinder Chronicles Dragons Revisited and looking at the cover of the book it looks to be that dragon!

Sorry its been so long since I posted on the game thread... (or it seems really long to me, even though it was only 3 days). We were trying to get faster internet, but instead the connection-thing didn't work and we had to get one of those little wireless cards for until we can get a stable connection. It's amazing how much I rely on the net.

Yea tell me about it, I feel lost without internet or my cell phone. Weird feeling to have, back in the day when neither were around we didn't have to even think about such things, its almost like we are addicts or something! Gotta get my fix!

Well I wouldn't know the feeling, as I'm a gen-next-er. The whole time I've been alive, there's been internet (even if it just departed from geek-only to public knowledge in 1994). It's come a long way, from when even Google took a long time to search and almost no organizations/companies had web pages to now when even the least-savvy people have rudimentary FaceBook accounts or go online-shopping.
And maybe I am addicted! It's like all the info in the world is in a gigantic library, and then compressed into a little modem.
As someone who works in IT I love going to my parents house because they don't have internet or cell phone reception.

Its been a great pleasure playing with you and thank you for letting us know! I wanna wish you good luck on your job search and hope you find something real quick.
I am going to NPC your charater for awhile so if things slow down for you and you wish to jump back into the game a spot is waiting for you! I have been trying hard to get my life in order also which has made it very hard to get time to run the game so it has been slow going here for a bit of time. I think I've got things where they need to be now so the game will get moving at a good pace I hope again. I only say this because once the mod is over I do have plans to continue this group into something else if everyone wants too that is. My plan was to move right into the Crucible of Chaos so if you'd like Tegid to continue to live in the world of Golorian, you have a place reserved!

We are weeks away from the PFRPG launch and I would like to shift over to those rules if possible as I am hopefully going to do with all my games! Now this will only work if everyone is going to purchase the PFRPG core rules! I do not want to pressure anyone, I know money is tight for everyone and even with the PDF going to be only $10 I don't want to assume anything. So if everyone is going to buy the core rules we will make the switch. There is no hurry here to make the switch but I am really excited about the new rules and am hoping to use them as I bet you all are! So the question of the day is: Will you be purchasing the PFRPG? And I guess another question would be,When?
Again, no pressure here just trying to gage everyone's intention!

I think I replied in the Second Darkness Thread earlier to this, but I'll do it again here for completeness.
I will be purchasing the rules when they come out. I may not get the Hard Copy straight away, but I will at least either buy or receive the .pdf for free when it launches, depending upon the method I choose to get it.
So I'll be good to go... looking forward to it (although not much will change for Sabriel (Warlock) other than if they remove LAs in the Core Rules, then I'll have to pick up a Level.
I am purchasing also. I already have a game or two playing with the beta rules. Not much will change for Ban!utu either except favored terrain.

As a druid, there're gonna be quite a few changes I'll have to make with Larkspring. I expect to get the RPG rules within (at most) a month after release, as money's kinda tight right now. I may just buy the PDF if I know I won't have enough money, but I do like to have the material version so I'm not clicking back and forth between windows.
I plan to get the PDF as soon as it is available, so converting should be no problem.
On another note, I am leaving for vacation tomorrow and will be gone for the week. My internet connection may be spotty at best, but I will try to post as regularly as I can. If you don't hear from me for a couple of days, please feel free to play Nbulu as an NPC.
