The module is a wilderness adventure for 4th level. So go ahead and fix your charcters for the game or create new one!
The game takes place in the Mwangi Expance, your charcters have just become stranded in a town called Bloodcove, the last port of call on the Fever Sea. It is run by pirates and trade consortum's mainly, pretty much anything goes here. You all have already adventured together and were on the same ship that came to Bloodcove before you were stranded.
Go ahead and work on your characters and if you have any questions just ask here. We need at least one more person so I am going to post over in the gamer connection next.

What Rulset are you gonna use Zoo? 3.5 or Pathfinder Alpha?|

If the campaign is in 3.5 or the new Pathfinder rules, I would like to play.
Who are the three players that already want to play (mentioned on the gamer connection forum)?
I'm thinking maybe a ranger or a druid, but I can easily fill any other role Zoo needs.
Are we going to be playing in Golarion or a homebrew world?

Since I have not had a chance yet to read the PFRPG rules yet we will use 3.5. Artemis, save your Paladin character for the next game at least, I will be running the Flight of the Red Raven very soon and your character concept I think would be perfect. For now have fun with what ever you feel like runnning for this game!

Hi guys. I'll level Orelan up to L4.
Orelan is a Battle Sorceror, so has combat like a cleric, and will have a few blasting type evocation spells.
Not quite ideal for wilderness play but should be plenty fun.
Zoom - how much gold do we have for equipment?

Triska will be joining the group, but I'm thinking of making her a ranger instead of barbarian (since she was already using the variant ranger abilities instead of rage, might as well go all the way).
Couple of questions:
- I just finished reading River of Darkness. Is that a problem? If you'd prefer people having no knowledge of the adventure, I'd be happy to step aside for someone else.
- How should we do hp?
- How much starting gold and/or magic?

I dont have a problem with you having read it but if you want i will be running also the Flight of the Red Raven starting later this week after I finish reading it! Your choice! Just max the hp and gold, I'll have to think over the magic.

Ok I need everyones decisions on what you are doing with your characters! If you are playing please level up th 4th level for this game!
np, I'll keep Artemis for Flight of the Red Raven and make a new Character for this one. I "should" be done by the start of next week.
EDIT: How does a Celadrin Warlock sound? I already have the character made up (to 2nd level at least) from a PnP game. Celadrin do have a +1 LA, so she will technically only be Level 3. If this is cool I can have the character ready a lot sooner.
Otherwise I am thinking a Dual Sawtooth Sabre wielding Swashbuckler, but I'll have to make that one from scratch.
I'll keep Triska in River of Darkness. I'll be doing Barbarian 2/Ranger 2, should have her updated today or tomorrow.
Originally, I had replaced her rage ability with the hunter variant, giving her some ranger abilities. Now that I'm multi-classing ranger, how does the Berserker Strength rage variant from PHB II sound?
Everything sounds great guys! I'll set up a thread in the pbp on Sat with the intro and we will be off and running.

Strengths: Plenty of combat, probably enough healing, plenty of blasting.
Weaknesses: No 'utility spells' (identify / knock / see invisible etc), no rogue skills, no dedicated 'face'.
Are we happy to go with this?

My Warlock has a high Charisma and is a Half-Elf/Half-Eladrin, so she can definately be the "face" of the party.
No Rogue might be a problem, but hopefully with a River adventure we won't have too much need for DD/OL.
One more question: by max gold, do you mean max 1st level gold, or are doing character wealth by level (5400 gp for 4th level)?Lets do 5400 gp for 4th level!

Hello all, I'm back. It'll take me a day or two to get caught up, but I'll get back into the swing of things ASAP. Zoom, let me know if there's anything else I need to know that happened while I was away. Also, I'll be gone again next week from 28-31 Aug at Gen Con UK, just to let you know.
Prepare to have loads of fun, not much sleep if any, and greasy food, but it is soooo worth it. They have some cool Rise of the Runelords dice set you might want to pick up and of course the Beta and Campaign setting must buys! I also bought and played Yetisburg, fun game! They were demoing it at Gen Con so you should check that out also!!
Have fun and let me know how it is and all, it would be kinda cool to go to it next year if I start saving now that is.....

Back from GenCon UK. May need a few days to catch up on all my game threads, but I'm here!
It was a lot of fun, but quite small, especially compared to a HUGE con like US GenCon. But I got to meet some of the Paizo guys, as well as Nic Logue and Richard Pett and Wayne Reynolds, and several of the British (and even some American) members of the boards. And I played 3 of the PFS scenarios, too. So all in all, a great time!
