What's in tomorrow's blog? You're gonna make me wait 8 hours to find out?! You're the worst of all the teasers on the Paizo staff. The very worst.

Bump.

If one of us brings a recorder, and sets it up for you guys... it would make a good blog post (times how many panels? 4? thats almost a week of blog posts)

I was planning to - but I just got hit with a $1500 car bill the day before I planned on buying my gencon and plane tickets. So between that and the trip in July with the Girlfriend, it doesn't look like i'm goign to make it this year (I'm already getting ready to book for next year though - before the employee prices are gone on hotel rooms)

Ill be at Gencon. Because I am not sure if my significant other has made plans for us on those dates, I cannot commit yet..but it is my intention to try and be there at Thursdays and Fridays maybe even Saturdays too.

Do you think itd be a problem if I just show up? Id hate to register for it and then suddenly not be able to make it.

While we cannot guarantee you a slot without a ticket, there's always the chance you could show up with generic tickets and get seated. We're going to release character creation guidelines ahead of Gen Con (around August 1) and will require all characters to be created prior to the start of their first scenario. This will make random players who show up with generics easier to seat--so long as they have their character created ahead of time.

My experience with massive events at the cons (and I've run a bunch) is that there is a good chance a few people at least per session can generic their way in. My suggestion: Get there early, and be like: "I am here first waiting for an empty slot." We will have a wait list that will be first come first serve for every session. AND! If we have the space and extra GMs lying around (not that I'm sure of this) I can see some people just grabbing some floor or a table outside the hall and going at it (I've done this at tournaments before and its awesome).

SO! My advice is: If you have nothing else scheduled, show up and try and get in.

You'd have had to sign up for it during open registration at www.gencon.com . Since event registration is closed you'll have to get some generic tickets and go to the event. I'm sure there'll be seats available:)

Hoody Hoo!

Slot 5: Saturday 8am to 12pm #2: Hydra's Fang Incident
Slot 6: Saturday 1pm to 5pm #4: Frozen Fingers of Midnight

Now if only I can find somebody locally to Slot 0 these - if not no biggy - I like to DM more than play these days:).

I may end up running these online via Fantasy Grounds 2 or ScreenMonkey for anyone who's also running these.

You can't reserve a seat now. BUT these are free seminars and we have a lot of seats available. Granted, they're the highest attended seminars we've ever had and the show hasn't even started yet, but I think we'll be fine.

Does anyone have any idea when event tickets go on sale again? Wednesday? Thursday? How flexible do you think the PFS events will be? Will it be possible to slip into one with generic tickets?

I believe you can start getting event tickets at 9 am on Wednesday.

Sweet. I guess I need to get there fast then.

While reviewing my Gen Con purchases, I realized that I had registered as a player for the Hydra Fang for Thursday the 14th at 8h00 am.

Well it so happens that I'm going to be GMing that very slot. I sent an email to cancel my player slot so that should free one for those looking to get in.

I'll be GMing 4 slots (2 on thursday and 2 on Wednesday)

Looking forward to meet some of you.
