Not really. And much as I would like them to fix it, I doubt they will simply because it would probably muck with too many mechanics.
Of course multiclassing is really only problematic in 3.5 if you are a spellcaster. One good house rule to remedy that is to allow the spellcaster to use either the level of his spellcasting class or his ranks in Spellcraft as his caster level (whichever is higher).

Quite easy way to fix this is to use Practiced Spellcaster Feat, I think it was in Complete Arcane book.. Its not a complete fix but with some right/nice prestige class and with a loss of 1 feat, spellcasters spells wont suffer that much.
=).
Still I hope that guys at Pathfinder will put their own touch to multiclass idea..

It's not the loss of 1 feat, it's the loss of 1 feat every 4 levels, which means a loss of half your feats if you take a 1 level dip, in order to have the CL scale on the very few spells you get (maybe 1-2 1st level spells, and some cantrips). That is a complete waste. Even if you split your levels 10/10, you'll need 3 feats worth of Practiced Spellcaster by 20th level!
Counting other classes as 1/2 CL doesn't negate the need or use of Practiced Spellcaster, it simply reduces how often you need to take it. And for a 1 level dip, where taking PS is a total waste, it still allows at least some scaling of CL, even if it is only 1/2.

As was suggested before, a multiclass caster's other classes should count for 1/2 their level added to the Caster Level. So a Fighter 6/ Wizard 6 would have a CL of 9 instead of 6. This is extremely easy to implement because it doesn't add any new spells known, just the CL when figuring variables.
Something like this would be a good fix. Multi-classing in 3E and 3.5E D&D did not work well for spellcasters, but was not too bad for skills, BAB, HP, etc. One question to ask is whether divine and arcane spellcaster level should stack, so that a Cleric 10/Wizard 10 has a caster level of 20.
