It still refers to turning attempts rather than channel energy attempts.

Is it true that spring attack is no longer supposed to provoke attacks of opportunity from anyone rather than just not just from the target?

This seems broken in that someone with fast movement can use it to break straight through enemy lines without tumbling by targeting someone past them.
