You see some common animal tracks.

What COULD be here? Around these parts?

Fake Healer:

  • Maaj: in their mature form, a big mouth with tentacles that likes pools of water in the northern desert.
  • Bhuka: desert goblins.
  • Jackals.... and many many more....

    Spoiler:
Boy, SpikeTV and their run of Star Wars is really seeing alot of resurgence in the games! I love it.

BTW, Jon Qiang has a free language, Tian Yu, and you can take one too. Locals generally speak Qadiran but anyone who does business or went to school can get along fine in common.

Don't worry guys, I wouldn't really have made you fight 28 Bhukas. I added a few after you made peace.

I really didn't know what you guys were going to do there..... The Bhukas are mostly N or CN with a few NE guys and a few good ones (Wetsands is Good). I love the PF goblins but to live in a harsh environment you need more of a sense of community and cooperation, so I made them sort of a good branch on the rotten old goblin tree.

BTW, how do you feel about insane EL encounters?

And another BTW, if you know the MM cover to cover, some of the stuff I've prepped ain't exactly by the book.

Hot diggedy dog, I can't wait to see Alpha 2.

Insane EL encounters are cool so long as we don't get pounced and destroyed before we have a chance to run. If necessary.
Besides we can always use the kids in those encounters. "I don't have to outrun the monster, I just gotta outrun these dang kids!".

    LOL.

I give everyone a fair trial.

The temple is divided into sections, some of which have many rooms.

Inside of slogging our way from room to room and letting the game drag out, I'm going to take your rolls for the whole section once you enter it and reveal it mapped all at once.

On how he preferred to be addressed,

    Idi Amin wrote:
"His Excellency President for Life Field Marshal Al Hadji Dr. Idi Amin, VC, DSO, MC, Lord of All the Beasts of the Earth and Fishes of the Sea and Conqueror of the British Empire in Africa in General and Uganda in Particular."

Oops, a little typo earlier: Instead of slogging our way from room to room and letting the game drag out, I'm going to take your rolls for the whole section once you enter it and reveal it mapped all at once.

Would you know how Dr. Fu Manchu preferred to be called?

    Shiny,

Here's the quick-quick: Nerius decided to go lone wolf and headed north.

The rest headed for Katheer from the shipwreck as the crow flies with Turin navigating.

At the first Oasis they met a mage named Aref (Fake Healer) and some desert goblins called Bhuka who turned out to be pretty cool. Combat was averted by Cordoba's peacemaking

During a big party in which much cheese and bugs were eaten, wine was quaffed and desert lotus was smoked, the Bhuka warned them that on the way to Katheer there is a creature called Calebra, who just happens to live in an ancient temple of Aroden, which Aref also just so happened to be seeking.

They are going to go check out the temple and kill Calebra, making their way safely, and satisfying the quest of Aref.

They are just about to do some rock climbing because the only entrance to the temple, which is carved into a volcanic plug that looks like the Devil's Tower, happens to be on top.

Hope you had a good time, dude.

    Welcome back!

If you guys want to make any changes to your characters go ahead.

Alternatively, you can wait until you level up, which should be when you finish scouting the temple.

Gonna switch over to Sorcerer after this fight. Just printed out the whole damn 126 pages, in back-to back fashion, and have it expansion clipped together like a book. Once I read through all of the sorcerer info I will update.

Hey Kruel, when I redo my PC, are you allowing the "unlimited cantrips" for sorcerers? Jason B stated several times in different threads that he left that out as an oversight and that he meant to include that. Also that Paladins were a d10 instead of d8 but no one here is playing one of them.

Sure that's fine. Let me know if there are any other oversights cuz I haven't had time to read commentary lately.
