Male Human - dash of elf Miniature painter/ Heroic

Cheers mate, I saw in Silver Rose. Thanks for that!

Can't think of a comeback, can you guys....

Book is badass, man. BAD_ASS!

Finishes his manicure.

I back stab Book for his foul mouth.

"Honor as you are wont of saying Book is for weaklings."

lol

Male Human - dash of elf Miniature painter/ Heroic

I knew he'd tell us to leap overboard. Syd hadn't really thought that far ahead. But he might think "stuff it" and try to bull rush Book and thump him.

Male Human - dash of elf Miniature painter/ Heroic

What do we think? Can Syd bull-rush him into the ladder and everyone piles on? Surely we can do something to him.

Male Human - dash of elf Miniature painter/ Heroic

I'm itching to roll initiative... ironically enough. :D

And now back to the scripted events.

Muahahahaha!

You want it. Well, you never know.... Did you read everything at the beginning? She's more than just a ship.

How about instead you try to save some girls.

Oooh I went back and read it, I guess I edited that stuff out. For later, then.

Kruelaid, don't you dare have that shark god come to our rescue!

Now that's a good idea.

Quit giving him ideas, you!

Ye gots picked up by a pirate with a curse.... He was doomed!

Waitin' for Nerius and Pulsifer. If they don't post in a few hours I'll probably use some of their rolls.

Liberty's Edge

Just posted.

I'm writing the next part up now.

No more railroading. Your time in the stockade served the purpose of bringing you together and giving you a common experience.

So this is where the story really begins.

Just a (somewhat belated) heads up; I'm not going to be able to post regularly until Saturday. I might be able to make a quick post a few times but for the most part I'll be AFK. Sorry for the late warning and the inconvienence.

No problem. Ian is away too, writing an exam.

Hey Kruelaid... hate to admit it but I got a hangover, so the Deceiver might be a little slow replying to your posts.

I hate hangovers. And I get them so easy these days. Better to just not drink.

I've got the straight edge. Don't worry about this one.

Great maps Kruel!

I never drank much, but I used to smoke the tree... back in the day....

I learned how to do it because I wanted to make city maps. It turns out now that I have the technology, and the shortcut keys, that it's easier to use the computer than draw a battlemap by hand and scan it. Plus, during combat, I can just open it up, move the counters around, export it to jpeg, and update round to round in about a minute. The only slowdown is waiting for photobucket for about 15 seconds.

Yeah, I decided to stay away from s*&# after I came damn close to overdosing on some unspecified uppers when I was sixteen.

Yah pills are bad news. And weed is crap for anything other than an occasional fishing trip IMHO. I still do take the occasional mushroom ride, too.

The old diamondback sturgeon came swimmin' along

Minding his business one day
Rooting and sniffing and urging to spawn
In the mud flats of san pablo bay

A scent came around so he followed his snout
He found what was to his surprise
A golden morsel, a tidbit, a tight bunch of grass shrimp
Was there right before this buck's eyes

He circle round twice and he took a big whiff
Then sucked up this savory meal
Then came a jolt and to the diamondback's surprise
Through his lips cut the cold, barbed steel

In a panic the old diamondback sped to the north
He sped to the east, west and south
But the harder he swam, he still could not break free
From the "tugging" that pulled at his mouth

The old diamondback sturgeon came swimmin' along
Minding his business one day

I'm afraid I'm going to have to bow out of this game; it's been a blast but it moves too fast for my schedule which is only going to get busier as the summer progresses.

Hate to be an ambulance chaser but I could step in if you wanted me to Kruel. I don't know if you have alternates set up or whatever but I thought I would offer.

Feel free to write up a how-to guide! No pressure, of course... ;-)

Patrick wanted in, but to tell you the truth I think that was before he started the Planescape game. Let me ask him to be polite.

Sorry dude. Do you have any last wishes for Nerius?

Patrick says he's a little too busy these days so it's your game if you want it.

We're using second level PFRPG Alpha with the p11 racial hit point bonus.

They're on the coast of the scrub desert north of Katheer in Qadira.

They were fortuitously shipwrecked after getting nabbed by a slaver named Gravid Book, who just right now is down the beach a bit getting his s&~* together after losing his beloved Intractable.

You can probably go from there. Gazetteer in a few more days I hope, I kind of need it before they get to Katheer, if in fact that's where they decide to go.

Just so you know, one of the characters is on a mission from god(dess) to kill Book. Everyone else probably hates him.

So Fakey's joining us, ha, on this merry sight-seeing trip?

Welcome aboard!

DO NOT STICK FINGERS IN CAGE

Yah, I'd love to join all you scurvy scalawags, but I am feeling the time pinch. I will still lurk about and vicariously enjoy your ant battling!

A campaign with time travel implications like the Sarah Connor Chronicles would be cool. I wish someone can make it into a reality.

That's funny, I've thought the same thing.

We were both thinking pirates too.

The other ideas were zombie apocalypse and Conanesque low magic.

Excellent.... I am replacing a Necro-caster. What is the group dynamics? Should I go with a caster or is something else needed? I got a lot of different ideas for just about any role, I just wanna find out what would be most needed.

Glad to be aboard, looks a great group of gamers here!

Shiny has an evoker.

We have 2 clerics, one with a level of rogue - he's the face.

We have 2 fighters and a rogue/fighter.

We're not doing evil, but we do have a Rad bordering on sinister and Ryor playing larcenous. Syd and Bohdan are straight edge good-souled do-gooders which I love because I haven't seen any for a while.

To see the game rules you can hit Pharasma's page, which also has links to all the PCs, or check the beginning of this thread.

Regarding Alpha 2:

On April 7th Erik Mona wrote:

There are draft copies floating around the office right now, for editing. Jason still has a couple of gorgons to slay before he puts a lid on Release 2, but my guess is late next week.

This might give you pause before you dig into the big 4 classes.

Sight seeing is fun and the game may yet see the players on a boat so we may have some varietous terrain, but right now it looks like they're going to do some time in the desert. We've got a guy with tracking (Ian Dai - plays in my meatspace game) but he's AFK, grad school preparations.

Oh yeah, one more thing for context, the current BBEG is a homosexual pedophile pirate who has been cursed by a cleric of Gozreh. So much to hate.
