Nope not one single problem I can find. Fantastic job. Has to be one of the best written adventures I have seen yet! Better than RotRL so far...
Fantastic combination of evil bad guys that just absolutely creep you out and opportunities for the PCs to play real HEROIC GOOD GUYS! The bad guys make a great juxtaposition to really god good heroes.
Most games I play in, the PCs are not really heroes, but rather guys who are not as bad as the bad guys. I can see players becoming swashbuckling legendary heroes in this AP.
The bad guys are evil to the Nth degree and PCs should do a wonderful job standing up for Truth, Liberty, and Justice!
Fantastic job Nic and the guys at Paizo.

Every time someone posts to this thread and the thread title comes up, by the way, I have to make a Fortitude save to avoid taking 1d4 points of self-esteem damage and a negative level.
I suppose you weren't expecting a sort of spanish inquisition...

lol well it wasn't intended to make you make Fort saves or anything :) lol
I know with the last Logue adventure there was all kinds of craziness... I was just intending to use some sarcasm with the post and the message. :)
No, with Edge of Anarchy the bad guys are really vile nasty guys you just can't wait to defeat. But it just sets the PCs up so well to be Three Musketeer type heroes. That is very uncommon in adventures. Something I am very very happy with this time around.
To me this is the PERFECT avenue for Logue's sick mind. Create the perfect bad guys that allow the PCs to contrast with and shine all the brighter.

Ha! Agreed! It was such a pleasant surprise when I cracked this thread open and read Krome's post though! Thank you sir! Glad you are enjoying Edge of Anarchy!

Yeah Nic, you are fast becoming one of my favorite writers. It is getting to the point that if your name is on it I will buy it. Too bad it is too late to get in on your Open Design project. BTW love the video of you on YouTube at Gencon. Must say I was surprised. You look normal!
Oh and in case you don't realize how much that means about your name being on it, these are the only other people I put on that list:
Gary Gygax, Ed Greenwood, Monte Cook, Eric Mona
pretty short list.
Need to see a couple more from Richard Pett and he just might be on that list too.

It's the normal ones you have to watch out for man. Nick's a thespian, he can't be normal.
:D
Hey, Nick... KICK A$$ adventure. Finished reading it tonight, and I can't think of words to convey my excitement to run this.

Fine, I'll actually put a negative in :) The "big event" that happens while the party is occupied elsewhere (being vague) feels contrived to me. I'll be spreading it out with some side encounters, most likely, as it seems "too big" a thing to happen without the party noticing. I appreciate that space limitations probably had something to do with events happening like they did.
Love the adventure to pieces, by the way.

Right on lojakz! Glad you are digging it!
True, we thespians are mauraders and rapscallions at heart. Never trust a thespian! :-)
@Krome: You can still join Open Design btw, it just costs $5 bucks more to join now! If you're still interested jump onboard! It'd be great to have you!

::Nick cries crocodile tears!::
::Nick then re-reads post and sees last line::
YAY! :-)
In anothe thread (can't remember which one, dang it) we discuss the "big event" problem and offers some thoughts on it. I think it might be the CoCT is full of win thread. May be worth checking out Russ.
JUST CHECKED: It's the Edge of Anarchy (GM Reference) thread actually.
Glad you diggin Edge!

Good thing he doesn't live here in Virginia, where they don't cotton to them thespians. It's against the law for them to get married and there's even case law recognizing that acts inherent to thespianism are illegal . . . I think. Wait a minute, what are we talking about?

Sorry to have to bring this to your attention, Nick, but not everyone's happy.
(I'm moderately annoyed to be still waiting for it to arrive here in the UK, but that's another issue altogether and probably not your fault.)
I have a similar problem with receiving my Pathfinder stuff by mail, and I'm right up the frontier, in Canada!
Nevertheless, I'm glad that PDFs are available as soon as Paizo ships the items. This way, I can print them at work and use those printed PDFs in my game… And when I receive those nice packages from Paizo, I rip them open, admire the work done and put them with my other Pathfinder books, far from harm. And while my printed stuff gets messy, scribbled upon and beer-spilled, thos awesome piece of graphic and printing masterworks stay as "mint-condition" as I received them! (Okay, you can call me a freak, but hey, since I'm a graphic designer, I know all the hard work that has been put in all those books! :))
This said, since I can't really do a thing about those annoying delays from both Canadian and American postal services, I use this waiting to build up my excitement… Anyways, everyone loves to see a package protuding out of the mailbox, ain't that right? :)

So I just saw!
Edit:
Now if only you could find a way to team up with Wolfgang and work some mi-go into your next Pathfinder project....

Yeh, we all love Nic, Nic's great, etc etc. Best adventure ever, best writer ever, best plot ever, most awesome NPCs ever.
Can't you just write something crap for once so I can hover over it like a vulture, endlessly swooping down to feed...
Hey Richard, don't get me wrong. I love your stuff so far. I just have not seen as much of your stuff as I have from Nic.
NIc does an amazing job with the villains, tapping some inner reserve of ancient evil to make his villains memorable beyond belief.
You, Richard, have one of the best talents of making a story and innovating that I have ever seen. In fact, Skinsaw Murders was my favorite adventure of the RotRL series.
The two of you TOGETHER would make the Dream Team of adventure writers. Honestly I think you two should consider that sometime.
