Hey Rags, when is you theatre group putting on this musical? I'd certainly stop by to see that.

well, I figured that:
A: Negative energy critters would be unhappy with a 4d8+4 positive energy blast.
B: In a dire situation, it might work as a long distance heal (assuming I don't crit =D )

By the by Heathy, I picked up the first installment of the Harlot's graphic Novel, Fall of Cthulhu. All I can say is *shiver*
Emrael Bladewalker |
To let you know, we are packing up our bicycles for few days on a rail-to-trail in Iowa. I don't know how much Internet access we will have over the next week, so please don't let Emrael hold things up - please feel free to take actions on her behalf. Have a great Memorial Day (if you are in the States) and a great week (wherever you might find yourself)!

Jeez. Two more 'safe' jobs I didn't get last week. I have to admit I'm not really feeling the RP vibe right now.
The bigger deal is that this probably means the end of our Norwegian adventure. Erin thinks she can get work right away in Phoenix; as she and Emma are already there, I'll probably move there in a few weeks. If so, I'm going to be busy for a while. I'm not gone, though, just distracted.
Patrick Curtin |
Sorry to hear all the difficulties Vatt. I know the feeling when even 'safe' jobs deny you.
Spanx, change that connection! F the cable people
I am currently very busy with several things, including a really hurt back. If I don't post up its likely because I am looped out on pain meds.

Hey, not all of the cable people are incompetent and rude. There's just not enough local folks doing it to offset the national presence of the others... but yeah, my professional preference is that you find a local provider and give them a chance. But I seriously consider farmers' markets even when there's nothing I want to buy - because I want those local folks to keep doing what they do - we have way too many international conglomerates for my taste.
Mr. Curtin, would that back have anything to do with a renovation gone wrong you recently reported? Did you go and try to install the whirlpool tub single-handedly?
Ragadolf |
Vatt- Sorry that your 'Norwegian adventure' didn't turn out the way you hoped, but I'm glad you got to go! :) Good luck with moving and all, That (to me) is always the biggest pain about any situation like these, just,... !@#$%^ moving! ;/ FIngers crossed and prayers sent, good luck!
Pat- Dude! lift with your legs! ;) Hope you feel better soon. Been there, still cringe when I think about it. Get better quick.
In the meanwhile,... Mmmm, meds,... ;) (JK!)
Heathy- I keep selling my soul to the cable company too, but my connections not having any troubles either. All I can say is, there's always another company (corporate or local) to try, and I've had coworkers try them all, there's always one to like better. And if not, well,...
the soulless cable corporation is always happy to take your money,... I mean, to take you back as a customer! :)
Good luck everyone, hope we ALL survive the next few weeks, then we can laugh about everything! (Or cry, then drink, THEN laugh, whatever works) :D

Good deal. We are redoing the surfaces in a pair of bedrooms this year. The first one has no real construction, but we did hang beadboard over a cinderblock half-wall, so that require minimal preparation and effort. Mostly, it's been prep and paint. Once it's done, we will move into it and work on the master bedroom.
That one will be fun because we are essentially removing and rebuilding the west end of the room to get rid of some awkward closets left by a previous owner's remodel. I'm more interested in the destruction/construction phase than the finish work, mostly because I am so picky that the finish work is never good enough for me - if I am the one doing it. I can generally accept someone else's decision of 'good enough', but not my own.
I'm sure there is a psychological issue at work there. ;-)
Glad your remodel came out well. Get some rest!
Ragadolf |
Sounds nice Pat, gratz on teh finished product! :)
Good luck AinvarG, I also am my own worst critic. I actually am pretty good (IE=halfway decent) at remodeling type stuff, (years of doing theater set work helps with that!) :)
But I'm so picky about doing it 'right' that I hate to actually do it, because there is NEVER enough time to do it 'right'! ;P
Still, it sounds like fun! Just have a good time! :D

Okay.
Looking above,
Altai's kinda busy IRL and Pat's in and out of availability;
We're in the middle of a conversation that Altai's kinda running.
I could put this game on hiatus, because
long story
I have a metric ton of hyperdense s#!# to take care of.
So, check back in over the next week.
Also, everybody who wants to play, state your rate of availability.
I'm thinking of using the unique nature of the Dreamlands to fugue whoever wants to play out of the current situation and into something side trekky.
However, if there's some people who are available daily, I'd like to partner them up without somebody who won't be around until August.
It's not a big deal, though; I won't be really starting anything for at least a week, maybe two; I have some crucial crap to handle. I can't really hold it against somebody if I, myself, am not really all that available to craft adventure material that is fun.
Ragadolf |
Dude, Understood, go deal, :)
I myself will be taking a week off to go visit family in Oklahoma.
Will probably have interwebs, but not a lot of time. ;P
I will be checking when I can, just don't know when that will be .
When I get back, I have a lot of stuff going on, (Choreographing fight scenes for one show, and in a musical,) But at least work will have slowed down to bearable levels. I WILL be checking in daily after next week. :)
dungeonmaster heathy |
Thanks; me too.
My thoughts are that I'm going to at least fugue your character Emrael and whoever else is around into another side game until Altai can return and conclude this bit of business with the "Turtle" Svipdag.
Svipdag's fate IS rather crucial, and I don't want this to be brushed aside by logistics, but I'm looking to get the game rolling in a couple weeks.
