They put out a placard for one price; at the register it was more, but they had to honor the placard. I've noticed that at the register, though, the mistaken price is NEVER lower than the real price.

Hey guys, sorry I've been a bit quiet, having internet issues at home and busy at work. Hopefully should get a chance to update some games shortly!
Yeah, this is getting close to my upper level limits experince in 3E too. I'm running or have run two campaigns that are at 7th level, and I'm a very occasional player in another game that's now at about 11th. But I haven't been able to make that one regularly since about 5th level.
How's the new tv mate?
Regarding buying equipment, I'm easy either way.

When my Eberron campaign in the real world finally ended, the guys were 15th or 16th level, I think. Given that that was Eberron, where kings and powerful rulers are normally lvl 2 aristocrats, my guys had a habit of swaggering around saying, "Of course, you know that we are the most powerful mortals in world? Why yes, we do sign autographs!"

In 3e I think we actually made it 6th or 7th level in one game before we had to stop playing that series due to RL issues.
But I do remember WAY back in 1st E, we were only 4th or 5th level, but we were pretty much giving out magic items like candy. And the group pretty much felt that they were so tough that they wanted to go and reclaim one PC's kingdom by force! (his background had him as having escaped a hostile takeover.) That was when most of the NPC's were always listed as 1st level with maybe 6 HP. I had to explain to them that if they wanted to go there, they would NOT be facing 1st level opponents!
Heck yeah.
Heh. Careful, you'll end up in the 'PUN-itentiary', or Heathy will find a way to otherwise PUN-ish you! ;P

So, over the past couple of months I’ve lost two players in my Age of Darkness pbp game. I’m looking for one or two replacement players, the catch being that I’m hoping someone will take on either one of the former PCs that are tagging along with the group, or one of the other NPC cast, rather than create an entirely new character. Either way, there would be some scope to customize the character.

Just to let you know, a couple of people from one of my other games have expressed interest too…
NOTE- It was SNOWING this morning,... IN SOUTHERN LOUISIANA! REAL snow, not a flake or two! (I've seen snow before, I'm not from here originally, but the neighbors were freakin' out!) The kids had a morning snowball fight before we went off to school.
It's gone now, turned to rain as soon as the sun came up, but it was a fun morning!
