How many victory points did groups score in the Farshore battle? Did anyone do anything unexpectedly cool?

Our group got the best possible victory (don't remember off hand how many points) but we completed all the side quests and defeated all our opponents in the final invasion.

As for something really unexpectedly 'cool' - how does a confirmed natural 20 on a maximised empowered orb of cold strike ya? It struck Vanthus for 168 points of damage. All things considered this has probably been one of the highlights of the campaign so far.

My group got the 2nd highest ammount of victory points possible. As for something cool... during the battle out fighter/wizard scored a critical on a recently summoned Vrock. He drew one of the critical hit cards (offered here on paizo.com) and BAM! The thing had to make a save or die... it died.

Our group got the highest point victory (I think we were over 2000, not sure exactly the number). We did a lot of the side quests but not all of them (some of them called for skills that nobody in the party was very good at) and recruited lots of allies.

It was a fun sequence overall. The most fun things my character was able to do:

1. Break up the vrock dance of ruin with a rainbow pattern that distracted several of them.

2. Ready an action to catch the shadow pearl when it fell from Vanthus' dying hands.

3. Use a suggestion on Vanthus to "stop flying around and come face us like a man, face to face, to prove he was really better than us in melee combat" (satisfying too since in our campaign my PC is the one who has been hooking up with Lavinia). He failed his save and we, of course, administered a quite satisfying full-on beat-down.

Spoiler:
Of course, he came back and we're currently in Scuttlecove trying to track down that rat bastard Vanthus and get my girl back!

You guys won't believe this but ALL those things happened kind of in mine--

Vanthus at the height of combat goes to shatter his Shadow Pearl when the Paladin knocks it away but FAILS to catch it--next round as it is falling the cleric does a flying leap and does catch it before it falls and shatters on the bloodstained deck--meanwhile both the paladin and Vanthus botch their rolls to duck down to grab it, slipping and sliding on the bloody deck...

...as Vanthus and the paladin rise the paladin's initiative wins, she scores a huge critical with magic blade and belt of frost giant strength backing her up and skewers him, Vanthus dies cursing, "...with my last breath I spit at thee..."

Meanwhile simultaneously one Vrock is slain by being slammed against the side of the ship.

My pcs failed to do one side quest but on the other hand wrought such havoc on the fleet that they made up for it, just barely getting enough for triumph.

Mine did pretty well. I don't remember the exact number, but it was one shy of the maximum. (Just below "triumph", I think.) They would've made it, too, if they had campaigned for Lavinia for mayor. In an odd move on their part, they decided to leave the election--in their eyes--unbiased by their efforts to campaign; as such, Manthalay narrowly won. I say "odd", because one of the characters has been romantically involved with her, and is planning on making her his "cohort" with the Leadership feat.

...they were fighting at the time, though...heh.

Total Victory! (as this was the end of our campaign (for now?) - some more details):

Farshore defence was maxed: all subquests were completed, via stone shape the harbour entrance was partially blocked, several befriended elasmosauri in the harbour; 2 rope golems were fabricated; barricades were put up between warehouses; the ship of Slipknot Pete was turned into a fire ship.
PCs were OP, but Crimson Fleet attack force was powered up as well (+1 ship; each ship +1 lvl 7/8 captain & 2-3 lvl 4-6 "officers"; serpent flesh golems; some weresharks)

in short:
- one ship was destroyed at harbour entrance by the stone shaped under water blockade, but this was countered by raise water; a second ship was destroyed by the fire ship (although sufficient pirates escaped to keep the defenders at the new watch towers busy.
- the elasmosauri harrassed the pirates in the rowboats; the druid (under water) managed to entangle the flesh golems (making them reach the shoreline in separate groups) & managed to destroy the rudder of one of the ships by warp wood as well.
- Spike stones were a big hindrance for the pirates once on shore. - Pirates with evasion annoyed the spell casters.
- Once Vanthus' ship got involved, the action became more tense. V'Sesslin was forced to retreat inside the ship (was losing the magic duel - I changed his animate dead with dimension door), but joined up with Vanthus later.
- Dancing Mirror imaged Vrocks provided a lot of tension, but dance of ruin was disrupted at the end of the 2nd round & the demons were then one by one dispatched by the raging, flying & hasted barbarian/totemnic demon slayer with holy weapon.
- Vanthus & V'Sesslin dimension doored into the city, but V'Sesslin was quickly forced to retreat (dimension door) after receiving crit. Vanthus failed to dominate his sister; but lasted only 3 rds vs the barbarian due to an amazing critical hit (rd 1 - miss ("what do you mean I hit AC 30 & I miss?"); rd 2 - hit; rd 3 CRIT - see glory thread).
In the end, the sorcerer managed to avert the Savage Tide by containing the pearl before explosion.

One ship managed to escape (including V'Sesslin), one ship was captured (Vanthus' ship), the others were sunk.

My group did all the side quests and had maximum victory points. But the fight against Vanthus was still tough. He dropped the pearl, but the gnome wizard managed to catch it and teleported away with it in order to prevent explosion (and risking his own life, which was very brave).
