Map of Turtleback Ferry

Rise of the Runelords

I decided to try and make a map of Turtleback Ferry with Photoshop. It was much harder than I thought. I used only brush tool and draw every house separately. Next time I think I'm going to make a few generic houses and copy/paste them to save some time. Also I will draw a sketch of the map first, now all the houses and landmarks are just randomly inserted in my map. Anyway, after this I have huge respect for professional cartographers, it's not an easy job...

Turtleback Ferry

Looks perfectly useable to me. Nice :).

Liberty's Edge

It may have been hard work, but the result is wonderful! Thanks for posting this!

Thanks - it is great.

Dark Archive

Very nice. Considered it stolen with intent to use, with credit of course.

YOINK!

You don't need to apologize for this map!

AWESOME. And full of win.

Thanks for sharing!

Thanks guys! Maybe it came out better than I thought. I'm glad if you can use it in your games.

Thanks for the links, JPSTOD. They look like a great resource indeed. I think they will be helpful with my next cartography attempt. I've been thinking Wartle, unless someone has a good suggestion, maybe some place that is featured in Pathfinder 4,5 or 6 but doesn't include a map...

The Exchange

Great job Salama! My group is about to start Volume 3 in a couple weeks and this will help immensely. Thanks.

A thing of beauty and an obvious hole filled in the scenario...

Thanks

Amazing work! My players just saved the town and are headed for Hook Mountain now, but I'll still be sure to use this.

If Paizo ever makes a fan submitted resource page, they should definately link to this thread.

Liberty's Edge

FANTASTIC! Consider it yoinked with a load of thanks!

This is lovely. Very professional, I thought.

FANTASTIC!

Really a fun map, and it looks great!

A while back I posted this to the combat map board. It's a few more buildings and I added some other shops for flavors sake.

I think you did an awesome job. While its certainly easier to use the generic house#1 approach, doing everything by hand definitely shows and makes for a much better map.

Oh, that must have slipped by me somehow. Cool and perfectly useable map you have there, Russell! I suppose you don't have map of Wartle in there? 'Cause I think I'm going to do that one next, and wouldn't want to duplicate that one also =).

Thanks Trent!

Nope, I keep considering making one of Jorgenfist though. Seems like its a place just ripe for a huge battle map. Keep considering this 90" (450') wide battle map and the fun it would be to make it. I was considering curving the grid along the top of the wall because the normal way would be a nightmare for movement. What do you think?

I now know to start a new topic with each map I create.

Superb map, please accept my thanks and consider the map stolen and used :-)

We could really use an area of this site set aside for user content.

I ask about this every week in the Pathfinder chats. :)

The Pathfinder wiki has a place for maps.

Dark Archive

That was a great map! If you think it sucks Id love to see something you thinks rocks cause that would be wicked awsome! This ranks up there with Liliths naked Nualia sketches.

Sounds like a LOT of work. Yea, I think curving might do the trick. Good luck with that!

Well Lazzarettis map of Korvosa rocks! And everything else he draws too. Okay, he's a professional and I'm not. But anyway, I think my second cartography attempt is looking a little better allready. But it's not nearly finished, so I still have time to screw it up.

;)

Nice map! My group is almost finished with Burnt Offerings so they have a little while before they will be starting Hook Mountain but the map will come in handy when they do.
